So I have this hard disk that came with these tiny anti-slip rubber "feet" on its corners that help it from sliding around when put on a table or any similar surface.

Unfortunately two of these four feet have fallen off and gotten lost over time and I have other disks that don't have these feet at all.

What are some easy and reliable diy solutions for making these feet by myself and adding them to my HDDs so they don't slip around everywhere anymore?

Wrap a rubber band around it

That was my exact first solution but rubber bands break and look ugly and can come off easily. I'm looking for a more robust solution that hopefully isn't visible from the top as well.

Go to the adhesive part of your local store that sells shit
Next to the tubes of calk that need a caulk gun there are little toothpaste tubes like 6ish oz

Get one 100% silicone that dries clear, and has the highest level of flexibility advertized.... prolly somethig advertized like advanced, 50% more flexibility or something, i like the ones that say water ready in 30 mins cuz they dry quick.

But that should stick to the case and provide some grip and flexibility for 5 to 7 dollars ish. Its useful to have sitting around.

But 100% silicone. What fake boobs are made of.

Instead of just four dots in the corners make a bead along the entire edge, and maybe an x in the middle. Thingll sit anywhere

I can't find this stuff in my country.

With what?

It's not a /diy/ solution, but those rubber feet are called bumpons. Commonly available anywhere they sell picture framing supplies (like Michaels).

I buy sheet rubber or silicone from the hobby store like $4 for an A4 sheet. Then I use a hole punch (the kind you hit with a hammer) to make perfect circles. 6mm is fine. The hot glue it with a tiny drop, or punch the same circle out of some carpet tape. Don’t use CA it’s too permanent and you can’t use acetone on a hdd casing
>>
don't they sell little silicone bumpers in the cabinet section of your local hardware store

That doesnt seem plausible to me.
If you can get your hands on a hard drive you can get your hands on a tube of silicone. Plumbing section or wherever they sell faucets or plumbers tools.

Cut a bit of a pencil eraser into the shape and size you want and super glue it on.
It will wear a bit faster.
I did it on my laptop. Pic related is two years of wear.
