is it a good idea to power a microcontroller wirh a 12 volt 23 amp battery?
>>
that's a dumb stupid joke, you stupid joker
23A is the model number for anyone who's just ignorant, and not a dumb stupid joker
>>

stupid name for a battery
how do you know 12V is the voltage and not part of the model number?
why shouldn't the model number include capacity?
>>
>>2871234
Because every battery advertises nominal voltage. And none of them aside from larger lead acid batteries have ever advertised capacity and currentā€¦ it would be bad for business and confuse normies and those things vary greatly depending on a ton of different factors for the same exact battery. Go find a datasheet or people testing them if you want that info.

>55mAh capacity
>pulling 23A from that cell
Even if it were possibleā€¦ enjoy your 0.8 second runtime!

eithe way woukd it be a good udea to use obe to power an arduino
>>
>>2871320
No because there are a dozen better alternatives, notably lithium ion, or AA cells if you're afraid of lithium ion.

the idea is for it to be small though. its either this or button cells...
