Looking to repaint a house I just bought. Drywall is all scraped back to bare bones. How big of a compressor do I need. Are the paint sprayers from Harbor Freight any good? Do I need specific paint for the sprayer or will any house paint from lowes or home depot do? Not doing the entire house at once, doing room by room. Anyone ever spray painted their homes? What do you guys suggest?
>>2872226Get an airless sprayer for indoor house painting, not an air sprayer. I painted a utility room at a house with an air sprayer and enamel paint one time. Do not recommend. Get something like this. Graco makes one too that is highly regarded. There's probably cheaper options that are smaller, but I dunno I've never actually used one before. Rollers are cheap and work well for me one room at a time.
>>2872237Folks rented one of these, I think the paint picks up a charge a repels then next particle, but the inertia can carry it through, needless to say everything was covered in paint even the underside of thing almost a foot away from the cracks of a closed door. N-95 and cover the machine.
