Silicone is pretty good at temp change so maybe a pressure change can loosen its grip. Wood plank shop vac torture that motor. This is low risk for dyes or fibers.

>>2873258From experience I can tell you that Silicone loses its hold as soon as something can creep between it and the base material.In my line of work jet engine oil. So I would consider to soak the pants in vegetable oil for several days to soak the fibers and get the silicone to let go.
