What tools are you getting this sale? I'm finally replacing my shitty 20-year-old drill with a new one. After reading Consumer Reports I settled on the Milwaukee 3403-22.
>>
>Firday
Friday lmao
>>
I'm an autist about vacuums and the front wheel on my current one just broke. Decided to upgrade to a nicer one that actually mops decently and self empties. I know I'm getting old cause I'm excited as fuck about it.

>buying 12V as your only cordless power tools
Retarded.
>>
Is it that time again?
>>

Money's kinda tight for me so I'm not sure if I can do it, but Lowe's has a DeWalt deal where you get 2 4ah, 2 2ah, and a tool of choice for $200, and I've been wanting a 1/2" impact for ages so I'm gonna try to grab that.
>>
the only tool I legit need right now is a cordless brad nailer after my pneumatic stuff got stolen off my truck (they cut the lock and the chains). otherwise anything cheap that comes up like bits and drills and blades and such are always nice, as well as storage, buckets, lights, etc.

> front wheel broke
I know a place you can buy little wheels.
>>

i got a black friday roomba for like $200 and I've been using it for almost 2 years. I absolutely love it
when pets are around i run it every day, if not like every three days
make a mess in the kitchen or cut my hair in the bathroom and there's a bunch of bits on the floor after picking up the clumps
>app>pick room>clean
thanks rosie

feels. i'm not even looking this year. i don't actually need anything
did get a good deal on some protein powder i was gonna buy anyway though, so that was nice

Yeah, I thought about fixing it. The wheel was only like $10, but I'd been looking at these models for awhile and we just got a puppy, so I'm going in and out a lot, tracking in dirt/mud. My wife is pregnant so I had to move the litter box out of my future sons room, thus making more of a mess. And I had like $250 on redeemable gift cards from work, and I've been wanting to open up a new credit card for awhile. Amazon offered 5% cashback+$200 sign up bonus. With it being on sale, I got a $900 vacuum for $150. I originally thought I could fix and sell my old one, but I didn't realize about marketplace was flooded with them.
>>2875593
Yeah, when I first saw them my buddy talked me into getting one with lidar and I'm glad he did. I never thought I'd love it as much as I do. So convenient and my house wouldn't be near as clean without it. I promise I'm not being paid to shill this, lol
>>
>>2875494
Which vacuum did you get?
>>
>>2875586
Self admitted makita fanboi here but have a couple of 18v ryobi shit for tools i don't use often.

The ryobi airstrike brad nailer is actually really good. It gets used a ton and you can get it for under 100.

Roborock Q Revo Plus. The one that broke was a roborock s6, and overall I was really satisfied with it, and had that wheel not broken right when black Friday prices hit, I would've happily bought a replacement wheel and used it for the foreseeable future.

started a bit earlier, when some stores launched black friday weeks at the beginning of november, because I had almost no tools and I'm in the middle of renovations and I'm trying to take care of as much stuff as possible while there are deals. I'm taking this thread as an opportunity to list it all, because I've already lost track and new things, like not having a particular drill bit I need, keep poping up.
Makita sawzall and an extra 5Ah,
miter saw, bit and dril set, a cordless toy 115mm angle grinder and a cordless jigsaw from Ryobi. also had to buy a cheap charger for the free 4Ah battery.
corded table sander, wet saw, cordless mortar stirrer, oscilating tool and an impact wrench from Einhell.
Milwaukee's impact bit and dril set with right angle adapter, 9'' cat's paw, speed square, sawzall handle, hacksaw, long and square-shaped jaw vise grips, long nose pliers and nitrile gloves
a cheapass corded multi belt/delta/random orbital sander and a pair of dust extractors from Parkside
a bunch of Bosch sawzall and multitool blades
Keter workshop table, a miter saw stand and a bunch of cheap storage boxes
sets of squares and putty knives and cable stripper from Workpro, chink rangefinder, laser level and some random junk
cheap 3-25 and 40-210Nm torque wrenches and a breaker bar
a bunch of Stanley Fatmax stuff, like coping saw, impact chisel, small japanese saw, needle nose pliers, panoramic tape measure, 20 ounce rip claw and bricklayer's hammers
a set of utility bars and a pickaxe from Roughneck
a dozen or so of various Knipex pliers, like Cobra, pliers wrench, CoBolt, lineman's pliers, etc., Crescent long reach pliers, small Engineer spring loaded pliers, about 16 Wera screwdrivers, a set of Pferd files and a bunch of other random tools e.g. spirit level, a folding rule, a bunch of protective gloves, assortment sets of screws and nails, clamps, crowbar, etc.

I bought a bunch of snap con and Matco, and some caterpillar brand hand tools

The snap-on ratchet head that clicks onto extensions, then the little magnet snap-on extension adapters than turn all snap-on sockets magnetic

Matco spinning Allen keys in sae and metric as well as the Torx one nice metal stands

And the snap-on striking pry bar set in a green handle

> What tools are you getting this sale
None. I got most of my tools from my father, they’re all corded. I will have to source some brushes for them at some point in the future.
>>
got the 10 ton port a power from harbor freight $100 off.

Black Friday is long past but Lowe's kept their deals going, I just got this for myself as an Xmas present. $279 for the batteries and both tools were free, supposedly a $440 savings, not bad. Didn't even realize until I got it but the 4 amp charger that comes with the batts is a huge upgrade over the 1.25 amp I had too.
>>
>>2880806
heckin steal
those rapid chargers are great and another $150+ value
someone told me the charges last less long from them, but considering it's 4x faster I don't fuckin care
>>2878814
did you get your clamps?
>>
>>2880815
Yeah I've heard they're not as good for the batts in the long run. I'm a pretty light-duty amateur user so they'll probably die of old age before I'd do any real noticeable damage with charging though, and maybe I'll set both chargers up and use the slow one for overnight charges.
>>
>>2880822
The fast charging doesn’t necessarily kill the batteries. Heat kills the batteries. Let them cool off if you were running them hard in a tool before putting them in the fast charger, and try not to use the fast charger in direct sunlight or whatever, and it will be fine. Most of the super fast chargers have fans in them that blow air into the packs.
>>
>>2880815
>did you get your clamps?
i got an email with a tracking for new order but no other info. and it's fedex which is like 2 weeks behind right now
>>
So some stupid Capital One shopping app I downloaded a long time ago for a discount, turns out there was $26 worth of points on there from a year or two back? Ended up with picrel from Lowe’s. The basin wrench was $11 because for some reason the Lenox plumbing stuff is gone and a bunch of new Klein plumbing tools are coming in. Don’t they know electricity and water don’t mix?
