if I started tomorrow, is this realistic to build within 10 years? considering I am working mostly on my own?
>>2877505they'll find her eventually
>>2877505Yes, bur you'd have to start today.
>>2877505If you're posting here to ask, no.
Its not impossible but the are some factors>money>tools/equipment>hidden/secrer construction?>open/closed>ground water>soil/clay/rocksAnyway doing it just with handtools will take ages. Just moving the soil will take for ever
>>2877505OP here, I live in southern Florida, do you think that might matter?
>>2877548Southern Florida is just deposited river mud, isn't it? Like, you'll hit the water table about two meters down, and you've still got fifty to go before bedrock. At least you might be able to pass it to the government as a hurricane shelter, so you don't have to dig it in secret.
>>2877548>southern FloridaFlorida is the bunker capital of the US
>>2877505How old, how experienced and how much money do you have?Underground bunkers in FL are stupid and you don't know why since you want one. You just think bunkers are exciting
>>2877505I got a headache just looking at that image. Ground water would be a real pain in the ass if I tried to do that where I live. Without a sump pump that whole bunker would be full to the brim with water.
>>2877548>>2877623OP lives in AZ, someone just larp'ed and claimed FLi just got an earth auger but doesn't help since bedrock is just 10 inches or less below ground in most spots. I need to hammer drill out rock
>>2877505Absolutely no chance. You would need cement trucks, dump trucks, earth-movers etc. If you had those capabilities and resources, you could build the whole thing in a few months. But you're obviously here asking about a 10 year plan because you have none of it.
>>2877505If you can move the dirt everything else is elementary if you pay for concrete guys to pour for you; they aren't going to ask for permits 99% of the time and will forget you ever did business with them. Once concrete is finished, you're just building a house.
>>2877505what, digging a big hole, building some reinforced concrete structures, and burying it? yeah that's a reasonable 10 year project with power equipment and a few concrete trucks
>>2878822>>2878729>>2878734Note about concrete trucksIf you pay for the trucks to deliver the concrete, but you do the ground work, it is always cheaper than buying concrete bags to mix yourself, and it gets progressively cheaper the bigger the project
