Fuckin a. Thankfully the broken section only activates at the highest setting and is not necessary. Been trying to get this working for 2 years. Took a shop vac with a detailing head to get the gunk out so that pilot stayed lit. Louisiana winters can suck sometimes especially when youre in an old uninsulated house.

>>
>>2878368
shit tons of propane/NatGas is leaking out of that broken ceramic, hence >>2878366. good job OP, you will soon become a number on a NatGas house explosion statistic
>>2878373

>poverty and mental illness
yep
>>

That broken ceramic element on the right only releases gas to light up if i turn up the knob to its highest setting. I saw the flames sputter and pop in it when i tried so obviously im not gonna leave it on. Its not leaking gas. Im sure of that.

It seems like you determined it was safe to use before making this thread
>>
>>2878443
After making the thread and before getting replies i looked up some stuff. I honestly was just feeling lonely and wanted to chat with others. Plus i didnt think that i would find any info specific to this other than from someone on this board. Cut me some slack.

It's ok, we will get you the gender affirming care that you desperately need.

I always forget that neets exist in our society

whats wrong with your dryer? those are easy to fix, usually just a cheap part like a fuse or switch

I work mon thru Friday 40 hour weeks as a painter, sheetrock, and finish carpenter. General home renovation shit. My only problem is i havent fucked in 4 years let alone spoke to a female which leaves me feeling apathetic towards many of my "adult" responsibilities. I only get out of bed in the morning to help provide a home and food for my cat. Meth aids in this endeavour as well. At 29 im watching all my buddies find love and even have kids. Whats the point of living if not to accomplish those things.

buddy if you think the only point in living is to reproduce, then you need to jump a few centuries ahead and realize that in our time, the pursuit of happiness is more worth it. get a hobby and go all in. you'll never be happy with someone unless you can be happy by yourself. you'll end up latching on to whoever shows any affection, and then once they find out how hollow you are, they'll leave you and you'll be worse off. also stop smoking meth

OP, this you?
>>
>>2878533
He's right.though. children is the only real happiness. You don't realize you're not even playing the same game of life as everyone else until you have some.
>>
>>2878502
You could start by fixing your dryer.
>>
>>2878484
I sometimes come here cause I'm lonely too. And I have a wife and a kid. Men need male friends.
Also stop doing meth

Sounds like you're watching your life devolve into a cesspit and you're blaming others. "I'm watching others do xyz and I haven't, but I've made no effort to do so and I'm going to sit home smoke meth, and live in squalor." Hmmm, would you want to date yourself?

At least find some meth skank to fuck while she gets drugs from you. Just do not allow her to move in.

Dryers are one of those appliances that are pretty piss easy to service but purposely assembled retardedly to try and prevent you from servicing them. Washing machines are only a little trickier.
What's going on with the dryer? If it's just not getting hot you either got a blown fuse ($10-$15 dollar fix max) or a broken heating element (price varies but $50 max and a simple swap) not tumbling is a much bigger problem and could be a motor, a belt, or any number of issues. Not difficult fixes for any of it, really. Unless you got cheap chinese shit because they change designs so frequently that an older machine might not have the appropriate parts anymore. One of the things it's better to buy American with because they don't change fundamental parts for fucking years so you can almost always find replacement bits for cheap even in ancient machines.
