Just picked these guys up again at the dollar store. How do they manufacture, package, pay employees, pay rent, pay TMI, ship them and still make a profit? 10 blades for $1 is just one example.
They actually lose money on several items just to get you in the store
>>2879611Two possibilities >they import a container of those from china >it's a loss leader product like the Costco chicken
>>2879611>howliteral slave labor
>>2879611they make it up on volume. Just think how many are liberated by the local youth (tax loss write offs)
>>2879611Firstly, shipping is free (and/or heavily subsidized) paid by taxpayers because the US offshored all manufacturing, everywhere, and are encouraged to do so for short-term corporate profits.Second, razors are one of those things that are ridiculously over-priced for some reason. My grocery store has them behind lock-and-key. It’s likely to be price-fixing or something, but I don’t know. You get these name-brand razors with 5 blades that cause skin rashes… I’ve used dollar-store disposables for nearly 20 years now. I like them better.Mattresses are another thing.
>>2879611>buck broken by gillettes jewish prices
>>2879611The material cost is like $0.02 on each, if you make something in high enough volume and it's easy enough to ship, you can make things extremely cheap. See also $1 Aliexpress products. Name brands are definitely fixing the prices, even within the Gillette lineup, their disposable 4-blade razor costs way less than replacement cartridges for the non-disposable 4-blade, despite having the same blade design.
>>2879611getting ripped off. they should pay me to use that shit. awful.
>POUR
>>2879654thisand the wanton destruction of the environment in the same third world shit holei hate burgers so much
how much would it cost to 3d print these with a machined blade
>>2880029>wanton destruction of the environment>third world shit hole>It's America's faultThis lack of cognition is why you are so poor, hungry, and dirty.
>>2879611they are made by machines that make thousand of them per hour that's how.
>>2879658>My grocery store has them behind lock-and-keyBecause people steal them.
>>2879611Use double edge razor's like White man.
>>2880053You can't 3d print a machined blade
