I don't use pesticides on my property, so I've taken to using salt on the paths as a weedkiller. The problem is there is lots of paths and it takes a lot time to hand sprinkle salt along them. I tried mixing the salt with water and spraying it, but the spray machine got clogged up. Basically I want some kind of apparatus I can DIY that will apply the salt in a large area evenly. I'm thinking along the lines of a giant sieve/colander type thing. Any other suggestions?
Dissolve it in a little bit of water and spray it. I've killed trees this way.
