What’s the problem with moles? They aerate your worthless grass lawn. Call me back when you’ve turned your water guzzling for no benefit grass lawn into a productive ecosystem or garden.

Moles are demons.
>>
>>2883633
They eat all the worms and cause my whole yard to become a rock littered trip hazard of uneven sinkholes.
>>
>>2883640
>yard
Worthless grass. Sounds like a you problem, not Mother Nature.
>>
>>2883643
Obvious low effort bait tastes good.
my yard actually grows food for my home and the walkways throughout my property become a hazard due to moles.
The rocks they push to the surface hinder mowing/weeding of these walkways.
Tall overgrowth encourages garden killing pests, grasshoppes, ticks, and more.
Moles are completely pointless when worms exist, which enrich the soil as they aerate it.
Also, my property is my territory and like many creatures in nature, I will defend it to death.

Do those buzzers ever do their job?
I seen them in gardens and moles don't really seem to mind them much, maybe because people stick one in the ground and think it will protect their whole property.
Question is would putting them every 5m around garden perimeter work to keep moles from getting in?
>>
>>2883651
I’d say they work well, I seemingly have no moles in my ass.

Do you work for osha
>>
Moles are based. Plus, they're very pleasant to touch because they're super soft.
>>
>>2883609
A high-energy high-preydrive dog, like a german shepard, ours killed one every couple days (though voles, not moles) along with 6 gorillion mice.
Never completely fixed the problem though, and when she got frustrated she would destroy the lawn trying to get them.
>>2883640
>trip hazard of uneven sinkholes
This, we had horses that could trip in their ditches, a bad trip could be thousands of dollars down the drain.
>>
>>2883757
>>2883700
The mounds aren't the worst of it, though you know that already.
The near surface tunnels cause the ground to sink in under your feet suddenly.

>>2883795
I don't think this is the thread for you.
Moles, like many animals, are fine until they decide all the human free wilds around my property aren't good enough and move into my home.
Deer are a prime example of this.
I have old pastures full of alfalfa just off my property but they jump fences and come right into my living space to tear my food down to the roots instead.
>>
>>2883633
They are full of fleas and ticks that get on your cats and house

Hate is a strong word, do you actually hate them? If so, I cannot think of a worse way to die than a psychopath pouring sodium hydroxide all over me.

worthless tranimal faggot, if you bought a dog, maybe you could train it to scare all the moles away or even dig them up and rip them to shreds, but no, you bought a cat, LMAO

Another redditor who has never lived in a wet climate. Here in the pac nw you have to mow your lawn on a regular basis, otherwise your yard will become an overgrown pest filled jungle in 3 months.

In France we have this kind of anti maule mine. it's pretty dangerous if you have dogs or kids the explosion is pretty serious. The other way is to open the hole, put a shotgun facing the hole and a stick connected to the trigger, the animal will push the trigger and commit sudoku
>>
>>2884005
You have cats? Wtf are you a childless woman. Cats are toxoplasmosis carrying pests.
>>
>>2883651
These don't work. The fact they are still for sale is a mystery. It just shows how stupid people are and how much landfill material is brand new products.

Old school RuneScape. The giant mole is a famous boss in that game, and if you’re very lucky you get a pet mole reward for killing it. People spend hours farming for the pet

What about gassing them and lighting up the mole tunnel? I've yet to encounter an animal that is resistant to blast injuries.
>>
>>2884842
Me and my buddy once got a bright idea at work.
After stuffing carbide down the holes and pouring water as we usually do to deal with moles, we decided to light the escaping gas on fire too, for shits and giggles.
It looked like a lawn was on fire because of gas seeping from underground tunnels, boss almost pissed his pants both from fear and anger, there was no way to smoother it and water only made more gas, in the end grass was wilted and moles came back later anyway.

My daddy-n-law had one plugged into his shop for mice. Well it didn't stop mice from nesting in cabinets at all. But before I found it I noticed I would get really irritable if I was in there for too long. Unplugged it and felt better. So they do something but it sure as hell doesn't "repell" anything.

I live there, 90% of people do not mow their lawns or water them and they are not "overgrown pest filled jungles". Not only that there are water limitation advisories every damn summer. You're the larping redditor here mate

I love moles; great to have around. Wishing you many moles
