Page 10 bump. I find it absolutely unbelievable that nobody on this board wants to post and discuss his dream house.
>>2885027>>2887399alright I'll bite but I don't have floorplans just ideas and pieces I like. I'm thinking something based on like a main atrium with high ceilings. Similar to how A frames often are. But crucially not an A frame. The foyer and living room would sort of be one thing. Kitchen toward the back with a divider wall that goes up as high as a typical wall would, separating it from the main area. Dining room off kitchen. Also an eat in kitchen with a bar or something. Deck or patio around back with access from the kitchen or the basement thru external stairs, said basement would also be walk out.In ground pool attached to patio.Off the main atrium have a few rooms on either side for bedroom or studies. I'd like one to be a den of some sort.Downstairs (no idea where the stairs would go) would be mostly finished and that part would walk out to the rear patio. I want some sort of semi-enclosed sunroom type room as well but not directly attached to the kitchen. Maybe dual access either through the dining room and from the deck. There would be a significant unfinished portion of the basement for appliances, workshop, stationary tub, etc. I would want an area to store preserved food and a small room built into the earth for a gun/valuables vault. First floor laundry. There would be some sort of upstairs loft and perhaps a bedroom or two up there. A bathroom as well. The master bedroom would also be up there and would have a walk-out balcony that would not necessarily be tied to the rest of the deck.Dual sink in master bathroom Large windows all over. There would be a garage attached to the ground floor and I would like it to be able to fit 4 cars comfortably plus relevant lawn implements with room to easily move around and work for small repairs/maintenance.Separate barn with a lift and lean to and patio for amassing shitboxes. A fireplace is important on all floors.I would like to be able to shoot from my house into the woods.
