Please sarr, I need to find a copy of the BS7671 18th Ed. IET Wiring Regs that isn't a hundred fucking quid. I am a poor northern bong,
and since I don't really know any leccys in my area I've struggled to find an AFFORDABLE copy. Thank you frens, and apologies if I used the wrong board.

I don't know anything about British wiring regulations, but I'm surprised something that critical for reference isn't posted online. In any case, have you tried the usual places like eBay? Looks like copies of the 2022 version (which claims to be 8th ed, so something isn't adding up) are only 25.

Nevermind, I'm retarded and those are some sort of study guide. But this looks like what you're after and it's only 40 quid:

I think they made an ammendment in 2022, hence why the main book is brown, but for my needs this should suffice. Thanks fren.

Yeah, they probably changed the shade of one of the wire colours or something to sell more books.
It’s the oldest electrical standard in the world, you’d think it would be nearly perfect by now, but no!… the behaviour of electricity and electrons changes every year.
