I am trying attach my camera harness to my backpack so i dont have to use 2 straps over my shoulder which is uncomfortable
i would also like for it to be removable and easy to put on/off
the camera is using a long telephoto lens and flash extender so it is large and unweildy

alternatively i have another camera mount that is meant to go around a belt held by velco
i also have a falcam backpack strap mount but its uncomfortable having all the weight on 1 shoulder, swings around and is relying on only the backpacks stiching
it does however have the best mounting system (arca swiss) but i dont see how i could get either to work for my needs

my plan was to use the backpacks waist strap (a) to replace the harness one and use keyrings + carabiner to attach the harness rings (1) to the backpack shoulder straps (b)
the harness waist strap has velcro attached (6) and is also held in place by the fold down velco bit (4)
also note the harness shoulder strap is only held on by velco (5), which i dont trust

do you have any better ideas?
the biggest issue i see with my plan is the keyring chains might make a lot of noise, i could use an actual strap but im not good at sewing anything
they are also reflective which works against the camo

Just get some more nylon straps and loop them around the backpack's D rings? If you melt the cut ends so they don't fray and reuse the snaps from the camera harness you shouldn't have to sew anything if the backpack straps hold up to the extra weight.

>loop them around the backpack's D rings?
how exactly do i loop them i dont understand how i would do that without sewing at least 1 end

the camera is quite heavy at like 3kg+

Get one of those two-hole adjuster things and loop it around kinda like this.

i found these but i think it would come loose without the ends sewn

its a heavy camera and im shaking it up and down with every step i take

Grimlocs are your friend. Pick up a half dozen and some 1" or 3/4" webbing if you want to make it adjustable. In a pinch you can probably grimloc from those silver d-rings to the webbing overlaying the strap pads but you'll get better usage makding it adjustable.
Another thing, it looks like the pack's waist strap rides too low for the harness so try attaching the harness's chest strap to the sides of the backpack. There's plenty of PALS to attach it.
