Any anons experienced in flatscreen tv repair? Model in question is a 2012 Phillips 46PFL8007/12The Panel is always overlaying vertical lines of different color in random spacings, there are ~11 lines present.Afaik the model is not prone to have the loose cables, so how do i diagnose this fault to the mainboard or the display? Mainboard spares are still available but rather pricey.
as one can see, the lines are not unicolor
>>2888814Go to walmart buy new tv for $350. Continue with life.
>>2888814>>2888815Googling it seems like it possibly is a 3D TV/Smart TV. OP if it's an old 3D TV, throw it out. Not worth the effort. The stereoscopy/dual image and backlight bullshit makes the panels weird and obscure and not worth fucking with. If it was a normal TV from a decade ago it would be different. Take the other anon's advice and buy a cheap piece of shit from walmart/costo/literally anywhere.
>>2888814bad connection or blown transistors. check connections otherwise chuck it.
>>2888814I think I see what the problem is.There appears to be a remote control sticking out of the screen. This is not good.
>>2888816Probably dead T-CON board. Not worth replacing.
>>2889150i too have a hunch its the tcon board ordered one for 30€ if its fixed good, if it aint fixed i get my money back>thanks euI will report back in 4 day if the thread still lives
>>2888815these lines are caused by corrosion on the contacts for the pixel strip's, hence losing a whole line of pixels. usually caused by excessive moisture in the atmosphere. it's theoretically possible to solder the pins, but I've never heard of anyone botheringtldr TV a fucked
>>2889217>these lines are caused by corrosion on the contacts for the pixel strip's,wrong, i already checked the flat flex and cof earlier today
>>2889218then chuck it.
>>2888814I had an old Philips that did the same.It was a loose connection to one of the LCD segments.Reconnected and it was fine.>>2888816>>2889114Op is clearly in some yuropoor shithole and can't just consoome more chinesium.
>>2888814>Model in question is a 2012 Phillips 46PFL8007/12Oh man. Our old 42PFL7606H still works. First and best LCD TV we ever had. No more good LCDs, the good shit is all OLED now.>The Panel is always overlaying vertical lines of different color in random spacings, there are ~11 lines present. There is no repair for that.>>2889114>The stereoscopy/dual image and backlight bullshit makes the panels weird and obscure and not worth fucking with. If it was a normal TV from a decade ago it would be different. What the fuck are you on about? Being weird and obscure (and NOT MADE ANYMORE) is EXACTLY what makes shit worth fucking with!
>>2888814I'm normally a repair dude but that's a shitty old Philips TV.There are literal TONS of far better TVs in the locals every fucking day and often even for free since many just want to get rid of their old TV and look for someone to still have some fun with it.I'd just look for a good second hand one for next to nothing and bin that old Philips pile.
