I was replacing a seal on Bosch washing machine and am now unable to close the door. I believe it is because of lock pin (is that the right word) which is in the middle as opposed to at the bottom. Any clue? Hesitant to redo the whole thing.
I decided to unassemble. The lock still appears closed.
I pull done smth which i understood helps to unlock, no change
>>2889816Maybe a stupid question but did you reconnect the power
>>2889816I unlock by cycling programs (electrically and indirect), maybe you have a short "dry" program like "centrifuge only"? I can unlock mine with the buttons / dial alone, it's finnicky but totally possible.Make sure that IF you have to let it do a dryrun with the door open / fake-closed, kids (or women smfh) can't go in the room with it.
Oh and the lock clicks pretty loudly when it unlocks, so that's your goal make the lock click with the washer controls, then push / pull / firmly jiggle the lock pin (it probably rotates, linear pin of the same strength would be more expensive and cost more space).
