finally feel like I'm in a good place with my frags. anything further purchases will probably just be me succumbing to memes clever marketing. I'm already drawn to Zoologist and Rogue for these same reasons.

Office: Lalique Lion
Signature/Office: Habit Rogue EdP
Date/Initimate: Black Orchid
"I'm not wearing anything": White Musk Body Shoppe
Versatile/Lazy Days: Caron PUH
Gym (lol): Cool Water

maybe a fresh green or a more interesting aquatic and I'm pretty set till I'm replacing bottles. Do you guys think Zoo is worth trying out?

Hell, I wore it to the office this past winter. There’s definitely smoke present but there’s a lot else going on there, the metallic notes, the leather, the soap in the heart, just a touch of animalic.

I don’t think it’s *that* bad and it wasn’t bad enough for anyone to complain or even comment, which I have had with some others.

>>18152099
> Do you guys think Zoo is worth trying out?
Assuming 1) you’re done buying full bottles but not done enjoying sniffing things and 2) you got some money to throw around
Then yes, Zoologist is worth sampling. They’re like any other decent size niche house. They have good frags, interesting frags, meh frags, and shit frags.
If you have the money to spare for the experience, they’re definitely interesting. Squid is a rather unique aquatic btw.

>>18152143
I mean I own Secretions, so I feel like nothing (in my collection) can top that, but even the meme frag aside, Vi Et Armis is pretty fucking awful for me.
>>
Alright boys… the samples have come in. I’ll spare you the unboxing since obviously no one cares about that shit.

I’ll give yall the next ~24 hours to reply with what you’d like me to test first. The plan is to do 2 Wednesday and then several this weekend. And I’ll try to remain open to suggestions but I’m not gonna just review this in order of popularity, basically just offering up anything the thread is really curious as a whole to hear about.
>Disclaimer
I am in no way an experienced nose, and often can’t even pick up on many of the listed notes, so don’t expect some Gay Dragon level review, best I can do is high level impressions or over arching theme. I’m also not picky, most things smell good to me.

So I'm comparing vintage and modern Antaeus and the difference is significant. Vintage definitely has an animalic tinge and a more prominent rose note that reminds me of Azzaro Acteur. With modern Antaeus I don't get any rose and the animalic note is muted, the smell does not interest me very much. Performance on Modern Antaeus is also quite soft. I would not pay $130 for modern, nor would I pay $300+ for vintage.

>and you don’t wear music on your skin

>>18152879
schizophrenic delusions
>>
>>18152867
You don’t wear music. Anything you wear is an expression of your gender as defined by societal norms. Surely you don’t think a pink tiara is also genderless? It is inappropriate for a man to wear a pink tiara just as it is inappropriate for him to wear a womanly perfume. Shoo shoo troon.
>>
>>18152882
perfume isn’t an expression of gender, perfume is an expression of perfume. you are obsessed.
>>
>>18152885
No, you are clearly a coping trooner. There is a men’s section for clothing and there is a men’s section for fragrance at every outlet store. Half of fragrances are literally titled “pour homme.”
>>
>>18152886
>b-but marketing!
lol
>>
>>18152885
do women and men have different smells? do they dress differently?
>>
>>18152887
The marketing exists because society’s perception of perfume is already gendered. People utilize this marketing to navigate fragrance appropriately. If you wear a fragrance titled “pour femme” you are violating social mores similar to wearing a pink tiara. Faggot troon.
>>
>>18152829
legitimately starting to become convinced jpg's ran by a pedo ring considering the sheer quantity of zoomers that are addicted to this shit
>>
>>18152891
perfume is unrelated to natural body odor, and it most definitely has no relevance to clothing
>>18152895
how naive. marketing exists because it’s profitable, not because of any idealistic conceptions of society that you may have.
also, there’s a much more practical and realistic reason for the existence of men’s and women’s clothing that you realize: men and women have completely different body shapes and thus require clothes that have different patterns. perfume on the other hand is not bound by any such concept, so any notions of gender are created post-hoc by marketing agencies, which is exactly how the perfume industry works.
>>
>>18152903
>is it possible to look like a woman
yes
>is it possible to sound like a woman
yes
>is it possible to act like a woman
yes
>is it possible to dress like a woman
yes
>is it possible to smell like a woman
NOOOO STOP- ACK
>>
>>18152905
what relevance does smelling like a woman have to perfume?
>>
If body odor can be gendered, then smells you wear on your body can be gendered. You are just altering your body odor after all. End of discussion little sister. You are dismissed.
>>
>>18152908
how is wearing perfume altering body odor? if anything, wearing perfume is replacing body odor; at least, i hope you wear deodorant.
>>
>>18152903
The very reason that gendered marketing is profitable is because of present societal expectations and social norms. If you wear a women’s perfume around a group of men you will be laughed at just as if you had painted your nails.

It doesn’t matter what role marketing agencies, tradition, religion, media, or any other factor has played in shaping our societal mores regarding what is gendered. They are already present. And if you violate them you are participating in faggotry.
>>
fellas if a girl wore fahrenheit and i then wear it too, am i gay?
>>
>>18152918
present societal expectations also expect you to wear nothing but WAC bombs from sephora if you are a man and exclusively wear either baggy 90s jeans/sweatpants if you are under 30 or slim fitting stretchy chinos with ill fitting dress shirts if you are a working professional over 30. according to your supposed idea of how society works, breaking any of these rules should land you social pariah status, yet none of this ever happens and millions of people wear perfumes marketed as belonging to the opposite sex every day without anyone ever noticing. you’d be surprised to know that a sizable chunk of sales of men’s perfume actually comes from women, but no one has ever taken issue with women crossdressing in men’s perfume.
>>18152923
fahrenheit hasn’t been a part of present societal expectations in give or take 30-40 years, so if you are under that age and you wear it anyways you will be “laughed at just as if you had painted your nails”, or so they say.
>>
Aren't certain notes considered masculine because that's what men sometimes smelled like based off their activities? Tobacco from pipe tobacco or cigars, leather from leather jackets, animalic notes from manual labor or hunting, gasoline from working on cars, wood from logging or carpentry, etc. It's not just marketing, but designers created an exaggerated presentation of this concept as men began losing their masculinity after WW2 with 80s powerhouses.
>>
>>18152947
explain
>caron’s tabac blond
>chanel’s cuir de russie
>serge luten’s feminite du bois
>caron’s violette precieuse
all feminines, yet all use the notes you describe (“gasoline” notes are just violet leaf octyne esters cranked to 11)
>>
>>18152947
also, lmao at animalic notes coming from hunting; unisex and feminine perfumes have been using heaping doses of civet and deer musks since 1889’s jicky. virtually every classic perfume has some sort of musk in its base, even moreso for the feminines of yore because of the close relation between indoles (jasmine) and scatoles (literal shit) and the enhancing effect musks have on florals as a whole.
>>
>>18152947
yeah I think some notes are, at least somewhat, inherently more masculine than feminine. Namely what you mentioned with leather, tobacco, and woods, particularly oud. I think musks and animalic notes are more neutral and go either way depending on the other accompanying notes. Musks seem more of a way to blend top and base notes, as well as give a fragrance a sort of feel or texture to it. I'm not sure if there are specific individual notes that are inherently feminine in the way there are ,somewhat, inherently masculine notes. It is more a combination of notes. For example many people think of feminine fragrances as sweet, fruity, or flowery. But plenty of masculine fragrances are sweet vanilla and tonka are probably some of the most common base notes in male fragrances, lots will have fruit notes, and Grey Flannel is heavily floral but also a very masculine fragrance.
>>
>>18152955
ouds have always been unisex in the arab world, from which they originate, so again, another example of a false preconception invented post-hoc by the (western) perfume industry.
>>
all this discussion to such an easy question.
>Yahya bin J’ada (Allah have mercy on him) narrated, “A woman came out of her home wearing perfume during the caliphate of Umar bin al-Khattab. He smelled her scent and reprimanded her. He said, ‘You (women) come out wearing perfume, and men smell your scents. The hearts of men are in their noses. Only come out without wearing perfume.’”
women aren't allowed to wear fragrances. therefore, all fragrances are for men. simple as.

Wanna hear what y'all can recommend, here's the info the FAQ suggests providing

Age range: early 20's

Season or climate: temperate climate - cold winter, chilly autumn and spring, warm summer, but not extremely hot most of the time, you get it

Ideal price range: anything below 100 bucks for a bottle that isn't ridiculously small will do

Type of scent I'm looking for: myself I don't care, gf says she hates frags and deodorants that smell like highly stereotypical "male" stuff so let's discard that

Intended aesthetic and setting: casual daily wear. I often wear dress pants and a shirt and stuff like that.

Extra: people love it whenever I give off retro and old fashioned vibes through clothing, hair etc because they find it suits me best

>you’d be surprised to know that a sizable chunk of sales of men’s perfume actually comes from women, but no one has ever taken issue with women crossdressing in men’s perfume.
Yeah, because women and men are different. And our social expectations do not travel laterally like that. If a woman steals a man’s baggy hoodie and boxers it is cute, if a man steals a woman’s bra it is bizarre and gay. The same applies to a woman wearing a blue fragrance and a man wearing some teen pop idol shit. Fragrance is gendered just like many other things are gendered. Toys, clothes, colors, shampoo, posture, shoes, fucking all of it.

To say that people are stupid to perceive fragrance as gendered is just a desperate cope because you enjoy women’s fragrances; women’s fragrances which were created for the express purpose of appealing to the sensibilities and tastes of women, then explicitly marketed and sold to women in women’s spaces.

And yes people can tell that you are wearing women’s fragrances btw. They are just being polite to your faggot ass so they don’t mention it.

ironically enough, even this is wrong by “current societal standards”. celebrity perfumes have always been clones of more successful mainstream perfumes, and there is nothing more successful these days than BR540, a (believe it or not) unisex fragrance. so a man wearing a BR540 clone like ariana grande’s cloud would really not be distinguishable from a man wearing BR540; in other words, “teen pop idol shit” is actually completely unisex under the right circumstances. and even so, nobody here is discussing if men should be wearing elizabeth arden’s diamonds, we’re obviously all talking about the likes of mitsouko or aromatics elixir as far as feminines go.
>Fragrance is gendered just like many other things are gendered

>clothes, shoes
again, there are practical reasons behind a gender divide in clothing. there is no practical reason behind a gender divide in perfume

>people are stupid to perceive fragrance as gendered
i would say that people who subscribe entirely to the machinations of marketing agencies are pretty fucking stupid, yeah.
>women’s fragrances which were created for the express purpose of appealing to the sensibilities and tastes of women
if women have such specific sensibilities and tastes, why isn’t food and drink gendered? why aren’t steaks for men and salads for women, or coffee for men and tea for women? this is a far closer comparison to perfume than clothing ever will be; at least both have a distinctly olfactory element.
>And yes people can tell that you are wearing women’s fragrances btw
i would love to poll 20 people on the street on whether or not shalimar is more masculine or feminine than, say, joop homme or le male. that would be an extraordinarily entertaining survey, though obviously not one in your favor.

i would think that a woman who knows about and enjoys those fragrances is probably a perfume enthusiast and assume that there’s a pretty decent chance that we would get along on account of a shared interest. as for attraction, i’d be more concerned about whether or not she’s a tolerable person to be around 24/7 than anything

I've heard that same thing about pink but that doesn't mean their aren't perceptions of appropriateness for the different sex for different not specifically sexual things like scent, clothing, color etc.
>>
>>18153096
i’m not arguing against sexual dimorphism as a whole. i’m arguing against the idea that aromachemicals can be arbitrarily assigned dicks and pussies based on the fashion of the current year.

I don't know if it is arbitrary. It may not be be immutable as highlighted by the earlier example of the color pink, but there are fragrances that most peoplet tend to associate with masculine or feminine. .

yes, because of marketing which influences fashion trends and therefore popular culture. that does not mean that muguet is innately feminine, or leather is innately masculine (lmfao). there are people in this thread who legitimately believe that.
>>
>>18153111
>yes, because of marketing which influences fashion trends and therefore popular culture
sure marketing can affect people's opinions but that doesn't mean all their opinions are based on marketing. Man or Woman on the street reviews of fragrances are full of people who don't know what the fragrance name or brand is at first but still get a sense of gender for different fragrances. And they feel like it is better suited for a man or a woman.
>>

again, i would love to do a man on the street interview comparing the likes of shalimar or cuir de russie to le male or joop homme. by the logic of all the pro-marketing pundits in this thread, shalimar should universally be recognized as feminine while le male should be universally recognized as masculine. i highly doubt this will be the case in practice.

That is ridiculous and you know it. Fragrance is an extension of fashion and self expression. Such a retarded idea.
>bla bla bla you just think that because you have been brainwashed by marketing
You are going in circles I have already refuted this. It is just a bullshit idea you are recycling from any non binary college student. Countless factors determine what we consider masculine and feminine.
>B-but I’m not even talking about the super feminine fragrances
If you have to say that then you are agreeing that fragrance has gender. If you don’t think it is equally appropriate for a man and woman to wear elizabeth arden’s diamonds then you concede that fragrance is gendered fucking retard.

Large majority of men find baccarat rouge to be too feminine anyways that is the fragrance of single moms in nyc apartments. Trying to find exceptions to the rule doesn’t exonerate you from the blatant faggotry.

>Fragrance is an extension of fashion
it can be. there are lots of horrifically dressed people into fragrance. both turin and the gay dragon are about the last people i would describe as sharp dressers.
>and self expression
what makes iris and violet an innately feminine expression but lavender an innately masculine one? this idea holds little water.
>Countless factors determine what we consider masculine and feminine.
prove that any of them are innate to the aromachemicals that represent them.
>>B-but I’m not even talking about the super feminine fragrances
who are you quoting? my point was to illustrate that the discussion around feminines primarily revolves around feminines that are long out of fashion and therefore no longer in the cultural lexicon. if anything, i’m speaking your language; you should be agreeing with me, assuming you know how to speak it at all.
>If you don’t think it is equally appropriate for a man and woman to wear elizabeth arden’s diamonds
i personally don’t really care. i wouldn’t wear it myself, but it has little to do with preconceived notions of gender.
>Large majority of men find baccarat rouge to be too feminine
based on what? MFK markets it as unisex. the majority vote on fragrantica points towards being unisex. what proof do you have that “large majority of men” find it feminine?

Absolutely not. Ultra Male is possibly one of the sweetest most synthetic cotton candy scents I've ever smelled. It actually beats out every Paco Rabanne scent on that metric, and they are known for the sweeter cotton candy base. This scent shouldn't be worn by anyone above 25 tops, and definitely not anywhere outside a club / party-restaurant. The pear note doesn't even really matter.

> what makes iris and violet an innately feminine expression but lavender an innately masculine one? this idea holds little water.
You’re asking me how things become gendered? Centuries of historical context.
> prove that any of them are innate to the aromachemicals that represent them.
Gender is obviously not innate to the aromachemicals that represent them on any basis of chemistry. It is the overall feeling that is conjured by a composition. Delicacy, gourmand, floral. It is an emergent property that is easily detectable and generally agreed upon. Clearly the rules are elastic, they can be stretched, but they exist. And your proof is the fact that the entire world seems to agree with me.
> what proof do you have that “large majority of men” find it feminine?
I mostly derived that idea from having real friends and common sense. I don’t have a survey. Similar to your ideas about publically comparing gay man scents like le male to vintage lady scents like shalimar, we are relying on our intuition.

You personally have the taste of a woman who lived a long time ago. That’s okay. And maybe it is even less gay than having the taste of women who live now. But you still seem to spiritually connect with those women on some level. Which is kind of gay.

So I got my sample of MKK, and I have to say it definitely is interesting. Kiehl's features a prominent musk note, but I have never associated it with piss or animals. MKK has more of a faint dried piss undertone backed by a pleasant sweet from the vanilla, and there's something in here that smells warm. I can't describe it but it smells dry and warm, almost like hair you blew with a blow dryer for too long kind of feel, mixed with a faint spice you may associate with BO, both of which I don't get in Kiehl's. I think they smell similar, but the overall delivery of MKK is sharper, like a higher res version of Khiels with less florals.

>Centuries of historical context.
perfume wasn’t distinctly gendered until around after WWII though. how can this count as “centuries”?
>It is the overall feeling that is conjured by a composition.
in other words, it’s subjective. could have admitted it from the start instead of pretending you had any objective pretense to stand on.
>It is an emergent property that is easily detectable and generally agreed upon.
by who? by what committee? what makes cuir de russie so feminine but knize ten so masculine? why is shalimar more feminine than the more floral habit rouge? what about coco mademoiselle which is just guerlain’s heritage with a drop of white florals? what about the entire universe of eau de colognes; if they’re unisex, what makes eau sauvage or pour monsieur so masculine? why don’t you write us an entire guidebook on rules of perfume gendering so we can clear up all these obvious discrepancies?
>And your proof is the fact that the entire world seems to agree with me.
who said this?
>I mostly derived that idea from having real friends and common sense.
so you have no proof and it’s a subjective opinion. it’s really not that hard to admit.
>Similar to your ideas about publically comparing gay man scents like le male to vintage lady scents like shalimar, we are relying on our intuition.
the idea was more to compare a deliberately sugary sweet masculine to a feminine with a similar notes (obviously vanilla and amber above all) but considerably less sweetness, and lots of notes seemingly otherwise considered masculine (leather, animalic musks, etc.). not once did cultural stereotypes enter my mind, or i wouldn’t have mentioned joop homme either.

>You can apply that tired argument anywhere that a gender dichotomy exists.
not really. it’s really straightfoward in clothing, clothing cut specifically for men will not fit the wide bust or hips of a woman, and clothing cut for women will be too tight in the waist for men. you cannot define perfume in such objective terms because there are none.
>You still have the same taste as women.

>perfume wasn’t distinctly gendered until around after WWII though
anon Shalimar was specifically marketed to women in the 1920's. I'm sure there were plenty of other fragrances at or before that time that were made with women or men in mind.
>>
>>18153221
marketing is one thing, but if we want to argue culture, then plenty of men wore perfumes that were marketed to women, thus making the marketing irrelevant. the most famous example is obviously charlie chaplin wearing mitsouko. as for men’s perfume, the only real examples of perfume marketed specifically to men prior to WWII are pour un homme (also perfectly unisex) and mouchoir de monsieur (near identical to jicky, which was unisex)
>>
>>18153226
>marketing is one thing
anon marketing 100 years ago wasn't like marketing today. It was done because the folks who made and approved the fragrance felt like Shalimar was more suited for women rather than men. Things like that have persisted to today where the perfumer, the actual nose who crafts a fragrance has an idea of a fragrance sometimes as for men, sometimes for women, or sometimes unisex. No this doesn't mean there is some hard rule about who can and who can't wear a fragrance but it does show that people perceive fragrances, sometimes, as being for one sex instead of the other.
>>
>>18153233
>It was done because the folks who made and approved the fragrance felt like Shalimar was more suited for women rather than men
in the case of guerlain, jacques guerlain had nothing to do with the marketing, it was handled by his father gabriel. so no, the marketing of shalimar or any other feminine guerlain has no real relation to its intent.
>>
>>18153035
RESULTS ARE IN!
>Office for Men
There isn’t too much to write here, it’s a pretty straightforward scent, and true to the name fairly office safe.
To my nose it’s rather similar to TdH, just some minor variations.

It opens as a very fresh, clean, bordering on soapy scent with a touch of pepper on the back of it. After a brief check back it’s definitely show gel-ish in the opening. From there the clean/shower gel scent slowly recedes making room for more of the peppery note.
After about 2H all I smell is woody pepper. It may be the patchouli, but it only registers as woody/pepper to me.

Overall it’s a decent fragrance, wouldn’t expect it to “wow” anyone here, but the scent is solid.

> Cyber Garden
Opens lightly, and true to its name is a very synthetic green scent. Not offensive, not uncomfortable, just notably synthetic, like faintly smelling plastic. There’s also just the barest hint of a pepper note present that may be playing into the plastic accord. At 30 min the pepper note has mostly faded, it’s not really green, it’s just fully plastic. Still not bad, just a touch peculiar. Very linear at 1H, plastic-y vinyl. Looking at the notes listed, I gotta assume it has to be a combination of violet leaf and saffron. At 2H it’s almost gone powdery, maybe half/half. It’s definitely taken on a powdery floral note at 3H, not getting plastic any more. Powdery with just a touch of plastic at 4H. Interesting.
>>
>>18153237
>or any other feminine guerlain has no real relation to its intent.
speculation
>>
>>18153240
howso when we definitively know that the marketing and perfuming at guerlain were handled by 2 different people during the jacques guerlain era? note that jacques never made a masculine aside from mouchoir de monsieur, which is really just jicky in a frock coat. why should we assume that any of his creations had any conception of gender?
>>
>>18153242
>why should we assume that any of his creations had any conception of gender?
well it is something commonly done by other perfumers when they make a fragrance and it is entirely reasonable to assume that Jaques would have have taken his design to to his father and said something like, "Here I've made this woman's fragrance, what do you think?" Now this would just be an assumption and you don't have to assume it but if the position is it is unreasonable to assume Jacques had a gender in mind for Shalimar despite it being marketed towards women on it's initial release absent direct evidence of that gendered intent, it would also be unreasonable to assume he had no gender in mind when he designed the fragrance without specific direct evidence supporting that he had no gender in mind. And like I said there is circumstantial evidence in that Shalimar was marketed to women exclusively on release.
>>
Fragrance with this smell?
>>
>>18153249
Like Chocolate swirl? Hmm... Patchouli can sometimes have a chocolatey smell to it. And there has to be something that can add a nice creaminess to it.
>>
>>18153248
none of these extrapolations are a reasonable assumption to make considering we are talking about the business practices of a family owned company from a century ago. the industry they operated it has no relation to the perfume industry today beyond their shared fundamental objective.
>>
>>18153257
Nta but you sound like you're grasping at straws. A father/son duo produces and markets a fragrance for women and you're trying to claim the son had no gender in mind when making it. Sounds ridiculous
>>
>>18153264
i’m trying to claim that there’s no reason to assume he had gender in mind because there’s no way we can confirm what he had in mind at all. a very different concept from what you are inserting into my mouth.
>>
>>18152839
Might be an explaination, but some of the notes themselves are fucking shit at first, then they either settle down or they develop, in a positive way, I dont know why, maybe they did not let them sit properly in the production line or something like that.
But this kind of shit makes perfumes even more interesting, the next step is to see how they evolve in longer periods of time.

Anyone know of anything similarish, with a lot of masculine floral notes above a solid woody base?
>>
So I unironically decided to test out vintage (Lancaster) Cool Water and compare it to modern CW. They begin similarly, but the vintage has more going on, primarily with the base notes. As it dries, you get kind of a 'salty, musky skin' scent (I'm guessing this comes from the ambergris). I think modern CW begins how it ends, which reminds me of tide detergent or something. Vintage makes me think of the ocean more and the unsavory bits that may come with it, more of a true aquatic, whereas modern is more of a familiar 'clean blue' scent.

Along with my MKK sample I got a sample of Musc Ravageur. I was expecting something wholly different, but it smells like it took great inspiration from something like Shalimar. If you toned down the citrus in Shalimar and replaced what was removed with lavender and got rid of that powdery iris note and replaced it with cinnamon, you'd be close(r) to MR. Shalimar definitely has a more 'classy' smell with that iris note, which reminds me of Apres L'Ondee, whereas MR smells more familiar to a modern audience with its cinnamon and cloves combination. I like 'em both, but I don't see why MR should have the price tag it has.

I don't mind smelling a bit intense but wasting expensive perfume on a retarded application routine is of course to be avoided.
Thank you in advance.

NTA, but on my skin Ombre Leather mellows out from a smoky leather to more of a gummy amber and jasmine type of scent. it lasts well
it's nice, but I prefer Tuscan

Cool Water always just smells like room freshener or some cleaning product to me. any enjoyment I could get from it is ruined by too many downmarket cleaning products cloning the DNA

I'm getting my dad an Encre Noire a l'Extreme. He's a big fan of the Sport version (he bought like 4 bottles of it), so maybe he'll like that one too.
>>
>>18153020
try Boucheron Jaipur Homme. great classy oriental fragrance that's quite old school, but pleasant and wearable today. more for colder weather
>>
>>18154242
I like Brioni EDP Intense for designer apple fragrances
it's a nice apple, saffron, leather, oud, vanilla kind of fragrance. classier and more original than Eros, but nothing too out there, easy to wear sweetish fragrance

Either you've sampled fake versions, or your smell systems are underdeveloped.

it's on the flowchart so it could have been either garbage or fantastic (as always) but I can confirm it is definitely the latter.
Smells like quality shaving foam in the best way possible. Kind of too strong for hot summer days, but it's so good that I don't care.

Ambergris and real oud can be fecal.
Magnetic Blend 1 by Initio Parfums is an ambergris accord which smells like (sweet) poop in the opening, but settles down, unless you get it on clothes. As far as I remember anyhow.

Do you have niche perfumes in your collection? These seem a bit more hit and miss than designer ones and they are costly. But the ones which smell good are godly like Angel's share

Hey /fa/ how would you rate my collection? I added some books I’m studying for your interest.

The samples are Bois Imperial and the Harmonist Hypnotizing Fire, I think it’s the parfum. Appreciate your rating.

>>18155536
It honestly smells like chocolate. But it's very good for studying really makes you focused.
>>18155539
I heard kouros smells like cat piss and that virtually no women like it. Fahrenheit also a lot of women said it smells like gasoline. I am willing to get guilty absolute and encer noir. Never heard of ted paidus though.

>>lil dussy

>>
>>18155569

Well that settles it, then.
>>
>>18155569
Ted Lapidus and Encre Noir are also dogshit. You need to understand that anons shilling this stuff couldn't care less about smelling palatable to anyone, let alone women.
>>
>>18155496
Decent collection, pretty good spread, poor presentation though.

You’ll get shit on by someone because there’s always someone who just wants to sling mud, but I’d give it a 7/10 on a scale that I made up with no real thought.
>>

Spoon-feed me faggots. Citrus+woods+musk/ambergris. works great on my skin in the summer and I want to treat myself to something new.

I've been wearing Les Indemodables Escale en Indonesie, Parfums D Empire Azemour Les Oranges, Acqua Di Parma Colonia, Thomas Kosmala Desir de Couer, Affinessence Musc Ambre Gris and Xerjoff Fiero.

What else should I try in that vein? My bottles of Fiero and Escale just ran out and I'm debating replacing them or trying something new.
>>
>>18155784

Hope this helps.

Les Indemodables perfumes have the best of the best ingredients in them. That's what their whole identity is based around.
