I intend to get at least one or two as ultra formal winter suits. As an aspiring lawfag

I want to, they always seem so nice.

Yup. I really like waistcoats.
If they have lapels and a fabric back you can wear them instead of the suit jacket and a contrasting waistcoat can break up the monotony of a matching suit.
My recommendation is to get three three piece suit in matching materials: black, navy and grey

What do you mean?

This is my plan for when I reach my weight goal. I can't buy a tailored suit if I need to take it in an inch 3 months from now.

Too warm here to be applicable, I reckon.

The better I dress the more glances I get from women. Granted at work you have to take your surroundings into consideration but outside work you can dress as well as you want. My goal is to make my GF/Wife wet anytime we are in the same room. You won't do that wearing cargo shorts.
