can we have a wallet/cardholder thread?

wallet/cardholder thread

Goyard is the new Louis Vuitton, the only people i see wearing them are naggers and gypsies.
Also, i've been to China this year, and it was like the most sold counterfeit brand on every market, over LV even.
>>
>>18246508
Why is it so hard to find a leather wallet that's not still clinging to cash storage?
>>
>>18246738
Because only the US and China are cashless societies.
>>
>>18246738
because the ones without a section for money are usually marketed as cardholders. you're searching wrong.
>>
>>18246778
First, they are wallets. Not going to use such a shitty liberal term as "card holder". Any more than "parent with a vagina" rather than "mom".
Secondly, that's bullshit because they also are indistinguishable because they also cling to cash. They may try to circumvent the cash pocket but you will always find some sort of a gimmick made for cash.
>>
>>18246738
Just make one.

bought this from a one-armed chinese woman in pike place six years ago. i dont know if it's "good" but i like it a lot
>>
>>18246818
I made this one in about an hour. This is a size comparison next to a standard size moneyclip wallet. I bought a $50 leather kit off amazon and cut it on a cutting board. The tooling stamps are pretty ass and I have since bought a divider and some xacto knives and a utility knife with a bunch of blades.

Any recommendations in shrunken leather, preferably bison leather?
I bought this at Costco many years ago and it's held up great but wondering if there's anything even better
>>
>>18248159
Not sure what you mean by that, the leather is decent enough. Just some generic matte calfskin

The Goyard is the only acceptable cardholder. Ridge wallets are for faggots.
>>
Is there any nice cardholder with a keychain hole on it? I like to attach my keys to my wallet so it’s only one thing so I don’t lose my keys

Really impressive anon. Have you considered buying some alligator skin and doing the same with that?
>>
>>18249444
No, but I bought a pack of 30 leather coasters to practice tooling on. I need to buy dyes, resolene, and an actual cutting mat. I am using a plastic cutting board to cut on right now. I will probably buy a lot better stamps and bevelers and things of that nature before ever trying exotics.

Since you seem really into leatherworking, this is a really cool video that shows a lot of great techniques;

I love Montblanc. Probably the best leather from mainstream luxury brands simply due to the fact that they specialize in it. I've had some of their bags and they're all very nice, and not as gaudy as other brands are.

Of course, with mainstream luxury brands you'll be paying a heafty upcharge simply due to the brand name. Montblanc is no exception to that.

Although if you really want the highest quality leather goods, you wouldn't be buying from mainstream brands. You'd be buying from extremely niche botiques that are hard to order from and have unusually long delivery times.
>>
i just need something leather with a coin pouch under $40 in europe
