Where do I get a long overcoat (not a trench, around 155cm) of acceptable quality for a good price? Most colors are fine, black, navy, brown, even something more out there like bright red...The best compromise I could find is SuitSupply MTM that ends up costing around €550, anywhere else I should look?

Thoughts on this belstaff milford coat? I think the houndstooth is legit and I like the cut but seems expensive for synthetic blend wool. Incidentally I think it should be illegal to refer to something as a cashmere or wool blend unless it has at least 30% of the fiber. Anything else is just false advertising. https://www.belstaff.com/us/men/coats-and-parkas/milford-coat-dark-charcoal?brsr=true
>>18250464The style ain’t mine but it’s timeless. A little bit of synthetic is alright to make a coat more durable and help it keeps it shape. But only 4% cashmere and 1200 bucks is way too much you can find a better coat for half the price with better material
>>18250403I have a feeling european countries > burgerland when it comes to vintage wool coats.
>>18250481Yea it seems so I often read here that it would come off Larpy to wear a coat or a Trenchcoat whereas here it’s not a big deal

Low grade wool but you’ll be wearing it over a few layers so it won’t particularly matter except to menswear experts who can identify low grade wool from metres away. I have one and it’s comfy. Only cost about $200.2. Mackintosh. Won’t be as thick as the wool one as they’re made of cotton but it is a long coat. Just buying a surplus or repro military coat. Can look good but risks looking like an army larper. Use eBay. Yeah, yeah, it's second-hand, but if you know your measurements (garment-wise) and get pics of the item, you really can't miss.
