Not sure if this is the appropriate board but, can we get a thread about lifts and shoes that make you appear taller?I got these and tried them in my timbs but it doesn’t work at all, gonna try some military boots or something. What’s a good shoe/boot for lifts, or better lifts than these?At 6’1 barefoot I’m tired of being a manlet and I want to present as 6’5 ideally.

I use barefoot flat shoes so I am shorter because I don't have a weird complex about it.I say this as a 5' 6"

>>18311813You won't walk funny if your lifts are modest and the boots fit right. I can use up to 2" lifts without any problems. You don't want to go more than 2" anyway because you'll get asked from people you know why you look taller today.

>>18313592Maybe that makes sense if you live in a poor area. One of my first jobs was in a poor area out of the city where all the nonwhites live and I was suddenly tall. Growing up and where I currently live 6’1 is not tall though, I am in your position really about 50% taller than me. About half the guys I work with are taller, and at the grocery store I would say about half of men are taller. I’m definitely never the tallest in the room.
