How does one avoid getting ones skin stained green from wearing silver rings? The staining won't come off either. Taking them off when washing hands is a start, but does anyone else have other tips? Especially how to get rid of staining?
the green is from copper alloyed in the silver.pure silver tarnishes black.if the rings hold sentimental value then get a jeweller to plate them in something silvery and tarnish resistant like rhodium.

I hope this box chain isn't fake. It looks too shiny and I know it's not rhodium plated at this price. I just cleaned my other silver, too, so they should look about the same.
