I'm going hiking in the atlas mountains/sahara desert soon.

recommend me some approach shoes/walking shoes that won't make me look like a top level sperg

budget about £120

Go to a hiking store and buy some hiking boots that fit. It's going to be hard to get anything good with your budget, but talk to the clerk, they know their shit.

Nobody cares what shoes you wear while hiking. Just make sure your feet are safe and the shoes won't break down mid hike
>>
Just wear some sneakers you already own and are used to. If you don't hike enough to have hiking shoes already, you aren't going to be doing any trails hard enough to need them and hiking in brand news shoes is not fun.

its all about fit go to an outfitter and try shit on. the brands that work good on my foot might not on yours.
also this is the wrong board to ask go ask reddit /r/ultralight or /r/campinggear or somewhere you'll get an answer from people who actually go outside.
