Is there any chance to get decent vintage/classic jackets without polyester and other plastic shit in the lining? Does it even make sense to look for such a thing?

is this board just full of people who have never used the internet before?
>>18314965basically yes. it's full of people that, rather than just do a google search, come here and post lazy threads about questions that have been asked a million times
>>18314715Look for "ventile", or "gabardine" cotton>>18314965Google is really bad for this, it ignores your query and shows repeatedly the same results that are obviously sponsored
>>18314715Are you looking for "vintage" jacket or are you looking for a jacket without polyester "and other plastic shit"?
>>18314715Yeah, just get into Japan made repro companies. The most historically accurate stuff is produced by companies like The Real McCoys, or if you like military repro you can check out Buzz Rickson. As far as I know, the majority of repro pieces are cotton with the exception of some vintage sports jackets which have stuff like nylon shell and cotton lining. Just so you know, this stuff does come at a cost. It’s not cheap to produce all the fabrics using old, slow vintage machinery, and these companies don’t pay their employees slave labor wages
