Knife enthusiasts are the kind of people who talk all day long about how badass their combat knife is, yet don't have the fitness to run up a flight of stairs. They fantasies about being able to pull their knife out on a mugger, yet have never thrown a punch in anger in their life.

>>18358433the thing gun forum people don't understand is if you live in a shitlib area there's often so many restrictions on guns that they become worthless for self defense in numerous situations if you obey the law. using getting carjacked as an example since that happened to me you're required to travel with firearms unloaded and ammo in a separate compartment of the car. comparatively knife laws in my area are very lax because they were written in the 1800s.

Even if it is just opening packages it will be used way more than situations in which you have to shoot something. This is why people who EDC a gun also usually carry a knife as well.
