I bought a pair of cowboy boots. How are my jeans supposed to look in them? Any tips for buying correctly fitted pants for my boots?
>>
Do you ride a horse?

Yea, your mom

Western swing doesn't even exist anymore. People go to shitkickers. I used to go to one called denim and diamonds in mesa arizona

You will want a straight cut with at least a little bit of stacking so your jeans don't bunch up on the boot shaft when you stand up.

No but I do live in Texas. Fort Worth specifically which is known for their stockyards and all things cowboy

What does stacking mean? Also, is this different than bootcut?
I bought bootcut jeans, but they flare more than id want. I see pictures and videos of guys wearing cowboy boots with jeans, and they look straight cut and hug the tops of the boots without showing the outlines through the denim. I have no idea how theyre achieving that

Stacking refers to wearing a longer than normal inseam so that the jeans "stack" above the hem. This will help straight cuts to hide the outline of the boot shaft, and prevents the hem from riding up and getting stuck when you sit down.

that anon who replied to you knows whats up. an additional tip and a rec:
- you don't need a full on boot cut as in flared jean to look good in cowboy boots. some people like that flared look some people don't.
- look for straight cuts that have less extreme of a taper and slightly looser leg openings. not full on wide cuts but a little mellower than your typical 2024 straight leg jean.
- try out the wrangler cowboy cut 945 boot jean. the naming scheme is confusing -- its a straight leg meant for cowboy boots, not a boot cut. there's no flare, but the taper is very mild. its basically wrangler 13mwz (one of the most popular cowboy fit jeans) but with slightly less of a taper and an inch wide bigger leg opening.

>how are my jeans supposed to look in them?
You should not be able to see the shaft of your boot underneath the lower leg of your jean (if your cowboy boot is permanently visible or causes the shin of your jeans to bulge like a hentai schoolgirls belly being fucked by an orcs dick your jeans are too tight.
>any tips for buying correctly fitted pants for my boots?
Any straight fit jeans/pants will be fine for cowboy boots. "Boot cut" jeans/pants are unnecessary.
>what does stacking mean?
Stacking is another term for "break", where the pants end. It represents how the hem falls on your shoe. https://articlesofstyle.com/blogs/news/a-guide-to-pant-breaks?srsltid=AfmBOoqkDsAef-D7scdtB8B_v2r_8253Yd5jW74Lf1MCkv_0XCcfh7B1
