is it ok for millennial boomers to wear loose fit pants?
>>
Who is going to stop you?
>>
>>18365543
i mean does it look good? or is it cringe.
>>
>>18365538
Bitch, zoomers didn't invent loose fit pants. They were originally boomer, Gen X and millennial core. Like everything else, zoomers are just ripping off from the previous generations.
>>
>>
>>
we already did when we were in high school.
this is why we are right and know when we tell you you look like goofy idiots.
>>
>>18365538
you're not going to look fashionable, you're going to look like you haven't changed your style since middle school

Trousers/chinos yes. Loose jeans look too slobby.
>>
>>18365538
It's ok a long as it's not light denim
>>
>>18365555
It's cringe. Just wear straight leg pants
>>
I personally spend most of the mild winter here in dickies 874, which is quite loose, and I'm 38.
>>
>>18365715
that man is 70 years old
>>
>>18365538
no it's spergy and looks like you don't know anything about fashion, rather than just don't care as with a normal slim fit
>>
>>18365538
it looks fine as long as it doesn't sag too much in the crotch area
>>
>>18365538
it's not ok for anyone to wear loose fit pants
>>
>>18365538
Wear pants that fit you. Loose fit will only fit you if you've got gigaquads and calves. Relaxed tapered works best for most athletic builds
>>
>>18365538
I’m a millenial boomer and I wear loose and regular fit pants.
>>
Zoomers are just copying millennial boomer 90s trends anyways.
>>
>>18367037
As any man should. Slim and skinny fit are for women and trannies who don't have balls between their legs. Your balls need room to breathe and move around in order to maintain their size and temperature. Wearing tight undies and pants is the best way to lower your testosterone levels and sperm count. This probably one of the reasons why zoomers are so low T because they grew up wearing slim fitting clothes. Most millennials were still wearing bootcuts and straight/relaxed fit jeans by the time they were in their mid 20's. So they don't look as soi as zoomers.

If you're a red blooded man, then you will wear pants that fit like these and you will be happy.

Literally timeless fit.
>>
I mean you prolly look 20 anyway
>>
>>18367048
What an awful photo to model them. Unless they really taper aggressively in the last 2 inches.
>>
>>18367047
The greatest generation and all the manliest men on earth wore briefs. Boxer shorts weren't a thing until later.
>>
>>18367054
I don't wear boxer shorts. They're the other extreme, too loose. Your balls need some support as well, so that they don't flop around and end up in weird uncomfortable positions. So I prefer trunks. They are a good middle ground. Briefs are always bit too tight for me even if I get the right size.
>>
>>18367052
idk if it's those pants in the picture but carhartt does make a pair of heavy, loose fit jeans with like a 14" rise that taper super aggressively at the ankle. i accidently bought them. they look like hammer pants made of denim. idk what to do them since I already washed them. I thought they'd shrink up and look less retardled.
>>
>>18367052
So, you want an aggressive taper in the last 2 inches in a straight fit jeans, like in joggers?
>>
>>18367072
no he's saying they look like shit but assuming it's because of the photo and don't actually fit like that. but they do actually fit like that. i don't know why they even produced them. the jeets in the factory were probably laffing when they stitched those.

I'm literally a bald millennial boomer, and 20 year old girls are smiling at me for the first time in years just because my pants fit looser.

Prior to that I was just an old creep in skinny jeans.

this probably happened

Regular fit is what looks good. The exaggeration of bagginess is already leading to the death of this supremely retarded zoomer trend, just as much as the exaggeration of tapering has lead to the death of millennial sexcore. The average person is cosmically retarded.

im almost 40 and i've been wearing loose fit my entire life. i got into denim a decade before redditors did.

>>18368152
outside of the really exaggerated examples its all just 1930's to 1950's era classic menswear silhouettes actually. zoomer fit is a return to tradition.

gotta let the boys breathe. the upper thigh measurement and the shape of the upper block is what affects ball room. not as much the rise, like people think. rise is more about ass room.
>>
>>18368180
>zoomer fit is a return to tradition.
It absolutely isn't. Even the shit that H&M and Zara are selling is absolutely fucking clownish and retarded. I truly do not understand why you have to defend zoomers at any cost.
>>
>>18368195
The major respill is that all recent fashion trends are women’s trends that guys for some reason started doing too

Baggy pants, cropped jacket, new balnce dad shoe, even panda dunk - were all teenage girl fashion trend that guys started doing too
>>
>>18368195
balloon fit was first popularized by my generation. the only thing zoomers are doing differently is wearing them too long. which was also a xillenial trend but it came after balloon fit ultra baggy fell out of style in favor of boot cut.
you could even trace its lineage all the way back to the cossack pants trend of the early 19th century. in fact you will find even more extreme examples than zoomers wear today. men have been wearing loose fit off and on since we stopped wearing breeches in favor of pants.

>>18368197
'cropped' jacket is just how menswear always was until the late 90s early 2000's when americans started getting fat.
everything called 'cropped' today would have just been normal fit for most of the modern history of menswear.
and the stuff sold as 'regular' length today would have been tagged tall or x-tall fit before the late 90s.
>>
>>18368197
The Levi's denim jackets (all 3 types) were originally "cropped" jackets. They were later made longer to accommodate the hand warmer pockets.
>>
It's only natural since we're all packing
>>
>>18365538
> is it ok for millennial boomers to wear loose fit pants?
Yes, it's how you show you aren't out-of-touch icky millenial. The question is: where the hell do we get those pants? Zara and H&M has cheap shit. Which brands carry proper loose pants that don't look horrible?
>>
>>18367750
> I'm literally a bald millennial boomer, and 20 year old girls are smiling at me for the first time in years just because my pants fit looser.
Yeah, its how you signal you're "in" and not out of touch icky boomer
Skinny and slim jeans are a no-go
>>
>>18368197
I also disagree with that. Western girls brought up extremely baggy pants in the first half of 2010s, to imitate Indian and Middle East traditions, especially during the breakout of hipster travelling and shallow apeing of foreign religions because "fuck the West lulz". However guys did not jump on the bandwagon. Guys only recently started wearing wider pants because the internet is vastly populated by images of South Koreans and Japs who imitate the style of 1970s and 1980s Europe and US. So women have nothing to do with this. Check Pinterest, you'll find thousands of inspo pics of men and movie actors from the decades I mentioned. Western guys started doing that simply because Asians have been doing that in the first place for over a decade, but like all trends, this also moved geographically with years of delay. This said, I'm far from critizing a classic style which is also the only one I love. Here I am literally only saying that the overexaggerations of specific traits of fashion trends leads to destruction of the good sides of the same trends, as it's happening right now. Clownish baggy pants that look like literal junk bags (I could vomit, seriously) are the reason why the next generation (and it's much sooner than you expect, it's basically upon us) is going to bring back extreme taper and millennial sexcore as a reaction. To ugliness, you react with even greater ugliness, and this is the subsurface sense and the tendency of the entirety of contemporary fashion. Balance (in this case, exemplified by the regular straight fit) is not and will never be a distinctive feature of fashion in the age of coprophagous late capitalism.

This is actually sexy and hot, you can tell she has a hot body by the waist, you don't need to slim the jeans and show everything. This makes her unironically more appealing. Millenials don't undersatnd you don't have to be on the nose with everything and exagerrating sex appeal is cringe

The only place pants need to fit is at the waist. Everything else depends on your taste and comfort. But overly wide leg openings are stupid and impractical, especially when the pants aren't hemmed properly.
