Nike killshot 2s when the first came out and I got compliments constantly
>>
My tuxedo (black, 4x1 double breasted, mid sized shawl lapel, full canvas jacket, double pleated trousers, 15-20 years older than me judging by the cut).

Schott leather jacket. I'm not into the leather subculture enough to appreciate Japanese horsehide repro jackets or all that, so my cowhide Schott is perfect for me
Also my Alden Indy boots. By far my favorite boots, perfect for my feet, super comfy. I'm actually wearing them right now

I bought an obnoxiously bright "hunter's orange" insulated waterproof double jacket that was on sale because lol...
...best coat I've ever owned. It's flawless and lifesaving and ridiculously comfortable and high quality. Easily my favorite.

I was gifted a pair of Birkenstocks back in 2001 when my Aunt visited me while living in Germany (same shoe size then as now) and they're probably the best footwear I've ever owned, and I don't even like sandals. They (were) literally that good. They did finally break apart after 20 years of wearing them, though. I wonder if the quality remains as good if I buy them here stateside rather than the primary manufacturer in Munich more than 20 years ago, though... (I doubt it)

My birkenstocks broke down after 5 years but that's because I wore them in the sauna and skateboarded in them

Sad to hear they broke, but happy to hear you enjoyed being active with them. They are genuinely great sandals for action and comfort.

Probably my Polo jacket that looks similar to pic related. I thrifted it a couple years ago and it's been great so far.

Filson's short Tin Cloth Cruiser. The jacket just fits me perfectly. Almost more important than the jacket itself was just finding a set of perfect measurements in case I want something similar made in the future.

A 2K Kiton sweater I bought for 500. Also a used Cartier watch I bought for 300. The Kiton sweater was unworn while the watch is an old beaten up one from the 60s.
