Pants that baggy were always stupid and ghetto tier. Relaxed fit is as far as you should go. Looser pants could look decent if they were properly hemmed and ironed (like in the 50's), not stacked.

Oversized is acceptable, but it tends to be paired with "children" given parents when their kids to "grow into" sizes larger than previous years (or even just months). On the other hand, people get used to that "oversized" feel; I was always surprised to see tight pants ever really take-off.
