I don't really browse /fa/ outside of /thinspo/ (mostly because the vast majority of threads are about male fashion), and am no fashion expert, but I'd say that I dress alright, and I do own some vintage fashion books -- I've been meaning to read through for a while now, but so far, I have only skimmed through them on rare occasions. Said books may contain some useful advice, despite being from the '50s and '60s.
