That's objectively incorrect unless you live in a third world country where fashion is 20 years behind. Wide cuts have been the norm AT LEAST for half a decade at this point.

Most men don't give a fuck about fashion. They just go to whatever fast fashion store and get whatever pair of pants there is whenever they run out of pants. They'll move to wider pants in 5 years when all the selection is wide pants and all their slim pants have holes in them.
