Is there a way to fix frown lines? At home
>>18514474Nope.
>>18514474monthly microneedlingif you want best results, combine it with botox
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1,000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.Btw, I like to dissect girls. Did you know I'm utterly insane?
>>18513202>uhh have you tried other things, like salicylic or azelaic acid. perhaps try lower concentration or somethingi use drugstore cream that has allantoin + d-panthenol (you can feel how it softens your skin in 3 seconds) and then use a drugstore knockoff of lrp cicablast baume b5+ or whatever it was called. even my gf was surprised how good this combo issorry for late response. I've tried salicylic, glycolic, azelaic, anti-fungal ointments prescribed by doctor, retinal/nol (which is good for dealing with the spots that occur afterwards). honestly I don't know if my problems have been caused by shaving. it's probably fucking up my skin. I've only got problems in one cheek too. It's almost like perma redness in small patches and no matter what i do it itches and it's red. If i shave with a razor, it's bad, if i shave with a hair trimmer, it's bad, if I don't shave it gets too long and irritates my skin even more than NOT shaving. benzoyl is the only product that have sort of worked. I just started using picrel, it works pretty well but it won't treat my main problems.
>>18514466This has to be a joke. That's raping your skin and then some. I use tret daily, exfoliate weekly and I can't touch my face with any sort of scrub. And here you are, exfoliating basically every day.
How is shaving supposed to play into a facecare routine?
>>18514639Shaving is a (physical) exfoliation step in your routine. Do it after cleansing.
Fuck... I'm using so many products now I have no idea which one is causing the burning sensation
>>18514600Jesus anon, relax
>>18514413>Ridding dark eye circles:dark circles are effay as fuck
>>18514643Do it before cleansing. You're using shaving cream and potentially introducing bacteria from your razor head to your face if you're not changing it regularly. Cleanse after you shave to remove soap residue and clean the fresh skin
>>18514474retinol for fine frown lines. I've just picked up picrel as I've heard it's pretty good. If you have deep set frown lines that ship has kind of sailed unless you want to take more extreme options like Botox and fillers
>>18514717You worry about bacteria from razor head but don't care about bacteria and residue on unwashed face? Jesus. Sure, shave with that sunscreen on or whatever was your last routine.PS. Try harder.
>>18514600Nah, I had it checked over and refined by my dermatologist. I'll trust my doctor over an anon
>>18514600I exfoliate daily plus shave with a safety razor in a hurry making cuts everywhere right after and my skin is doing fine
>>18514725You're putting on shaving cream, which is soap, and then cleansing after, which removes anything left. What are you not getting.
>>18514725you're supposed to shave in the morning after waking up, dunce
How do I get rid of the red spots(near adam's apple)? Tret? Microneedling?
>>18515108Moisturizing cream and concealer
>>18515192I thought concealer is bad for the skin?
>>18515227You won't hide the red spots unless you hide them.If you want to treat them, then you'll have to wait. Time heals, you already know that
>>18515108That's just some minor razor burn. It'll go away on its own in a few days. Salicylic acid and moisturizer should help.
Despite going through retinization, within 3 weeks tret has given be a nice shine and significant/visible nasolabial fold decrease.I keep fucking with my sebum deposits so I hope dutasteride helps a bit with my oiliness. Also hoping I get rid of those fine lines on my forehead and post-wound hyperpigmentation next to my btow... 27 in Dec btw
>>18515269Ah yeah I've had a suspicion since when I use my electric trimmer it's even worse despite the fact that I always meticulously clean that thing. Guess I'll try some other creams/blades.>>18515259Well yeah but I was just wondering if I should supplement something in addition to just letting the skin heal.
>>18515304Bretty good shine bro.

>>18515304Does age even matter? I will turn 25 soon and my skin looks the same as when I was 18. With less acne.
I've been using tret for just over three weeks now and the skin on my forehead is flaky, is this good or bad?
>>18515304looking good bro. no sure the dutasteride will help with the oiliness. fin didn't help me at least.>>18515656>https://www.alldaychemist.com/a-ret-gel-0-1-tretinoin-gel-20gm.htmli've seen this site linked a lot. haven't used it myself. if i was you i would probably use the OTC adapalene 0.1%. not sure if that's also banned in EU, but probably easy to get through a legit dealer like amazon from US.>>18515721i was the same. it will come to you. your hormones will shift in your late 20's - early 30s and then it will happen fast. the skin damage you picked up in your youth will start to show because you'll lose fat in your face, thinning your skin. the deeper down discoloration will show, wrinkles will form, and scars will become more pronounced. a lot of people start balding during that too.25 is a great age to start tretinoin and finasteride.>>18515732it takes time for your skin to adjust. you should wait at least 12 weeks to see results. if it's still flaky you may want to move to a lower strength. in the mean time use moisturizer, sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
>>18514413any reason why my hands feel so "wet" and sticky? i can't get them to dry properly even with clothis it because of summer moisture?

>>18514466Yo faggots what am I supposed to do without Tretinoin while it’s sunny as fuck I also wash my face with scratchy stuff and use moisturizer and spf
>>18517237>without tretinoinTret is just amped retinol. Better to have, but using retinol is still better than not. Moisturize (both in the morning and at night) and use an appropriate face sunscreen everyday and you're kind golden.
>>18517322the more accurate description would be that retinol is tretinoin with extra steps
>>18517326I mean is it? The only extra I would say is you absolutely need sunscreen if you're on tret, but the sunscreen should already be a part of the routine
>>18517326Im retarded, I completely misread what you wrote

>>18518276Watch Sam Ellis' video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ0ruatmi74salicylic acid and tretinoin are good options for you, also an in-office treatment like a fractional CO2 laser may be very helpful for you.

>>18518274I'm going to try mandelic acid firstnot sure whether to try it in cleanser or toner form though
I spent $200 stocking up on elta md barrier renewal moisturizer because it's the only thing that's worked for my difficult skin. I feel guilty not getting by on cheaper stuff but I did try them. I tried water gel-based and they did not last long enough, I tried an oat moisturizer that was thick and greasy. My face was inflammed and painful. The only thing that works is triple the cost. I guess I should be glad I found something that fixes the issue.

I have a feeling that caring about fashion and styles is useless before your skin isn't perfect. Do you agree anons?
I think I'm going to NOT use moisturizer for a while, at all, and see what happens...

I recently got this depilation cream at the store. It says it's sensitive and for bikini zone, but I am wondering does anyone knows whether it's safe to use on pubic hair (i.e. hair above the genitals). I would prefer not to get chemical burns if I can avoid it.
now that the skinceuticals ce ferulic patent has expired, are there any decent dupes out? has the meta shifted?what vit c serum do you use?
So using mild Moisturising cleanser and prescription adapalene in the evening and the cleanser and sunscreen in the morning has been a huge improvement. But I still get 1 or two whiteheads popping up. Do I put the adapalene cream on them or do I do something else? Popping them manually leaves behind damaged skin like this.
>>18520879don't pop. after cleansing, put a pimple patch on it, then apply adapalene (not getting on the whitehead/wound).

>>18521572i know advice isnt to let retinoids into open wounds or anything but retinoids
>>18521572it's ok if it pops while cleaning, the puss usually surfaces, so it's normal. the goal it avoid damaging the skin in the process, which means waiting for it to surface on its own or with very little assistance.it's best to avoid getting any actives in the wound because they can cause damage to the skin resulting in scaring. cleansing and moisturizing is fine.the pimple patch (hydrocolloid patch) will speed up healing. cleaning and sealing the wound will allow it to heal faster.alternatively you can use an occlusive to seal and help speed up recovery e.g.La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5Aquaphor Healing OintmentCeraVe Healing OintmentVaseline Healing Jelly Original
Thought on aloe vera gel?
--- for the people without access, this is from my derm ---SUNSCREENGeneral Requirements:- SPF 30 or higher- Both UVA and UVB protection (broad spectrum)- Water-resistant for outdoor water activities- Daily facial moisturizers with SPF do not need to be water-resistantSPF 30 if the generally accepted minimum protection and it will block approximately 97% of UV radiation if broadspectrum. Higher SPFs are not necessary but are perfectly acceptable if preferred or if someone is especially sun sensitive(medication, photosensitivity condition eg lupus). These higher SPFs will block progressively higher percentages of UV.Higher SPF will not reduce the frequency of reapplication when out in the sun and it is recommended one reapplies every2-3 hours on dry land and every hour when in the water.Sunscreen Application when outdoors:- Most apply an inadequate amount of sunscreen. It should be a liberal coating. 1 ounce (enough to fill a shot glass) is generally required to cover all exposed areas of skin.- Apply to dry skin 15 minutes prior to sun exposure- Be sure to include the ears, lips, neck, chest and back of hands as these are critical sun exposure areas that are often missed.- Reapplication is essential. As above, every 2-3 hours.Sunscreen Application when indoors and driving:- It is important to use sunscreen when inside and driving as windows do not block UVA
>>18522290Types of Sunscreens:- Physical/Mineral -- titanium, zinc and ferric oxide- Chemical -- Avobenzone, octinoxate, homosalate, mexoryl, helioplex, othersBoth types are excellent and provide good coverage. I find that the physical/Mineral sunscreens provide better, broadspectrum protection as compared to chemical products, and are less irritating. Mineral sunscreens, however, tend to bemore whitish or opaque although some of the micronized versions have become more cosmetically elegant. Chemicalsunscreens have the advantage of been transparent and a little less messy. Individuals that have very sensitive skin, thosewith skin allergies to products and younger children (2 and younger) should stick with physical/mineral sunscreens andthey tend to be gentler.Recommended Sunscreens:There are many good options that provide excellent protection and higher cost does not necessarily mean moreeffective. Most brands make many different versions of their sunscreens, and the active ingredients are listed onthe packaging. These are a few I like but this is not an exhaustive list of all good products.

>>18523021that comes from clogged poresusually tret would be the best option. are you sure you were using it correctly and giving enough time? it will take a few months of 4-6 days a week to start seeing results.don't know your gender, but women can get them from hormones.another thing, you could be having a reaction to a specific product you're using. for instance ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Lotion breaks me out even though it's great for most people. just because something is noncomedogenic, doesn't mean it will be good for you specifically.you can use https://incidecoder.com/ to try to sus out specific ingredients or just rotate through different products.>Cicaplast B5 Baumeyou might also want to back off occlusives for a couple of weeks to see if it clears up. unlikely, but possible.if all else fails, you'll need to stop everything and start adding in things back in one at time.
>>18523029Uhhhh moisturise???
I just realized that I'm not gonna be able to get the beauty of joseon sunscreen i like without paying out the ass for trumps stupid fucking tariff war now. Cool!

>>18524027Surely there's some niche US brands copying KR and JP by now, no?
>>18522622What are your skin concerns? Don't really need any other actives/serums with tret besides maybe Vit C in the AM.
>>18524207only if you want to. dark circles aren't unattractive though. healthy skin is the goal :)>>18524260filters used overseas aren't necessarily approved by the FDA in the US. k brands will sell US approved reformulations in the US and you have to go through vendors like olive young to have the original version shipped into the US.

Hello /fa/. I have been using GHK-CU topical form the ordinary and it is insane how good it is. I want to buy raw GHK-CU and make my own solution to inject it or topical solution's or nose spray. I am looking on alibaba and other chinese source's because the fag's on .org said china has the best source's. I am gonna pull the trigger unless anyone here know's where else I could get it. alibaba vendor's have to go through quality check's and they have good review's and more stuff. Any idea's?
How important is sunscreen really? Do I need to apply it when I go out in the late afternoon for an hour? Do I need it for my morning commute to the office? I know its important but I really dont want to put some oily shit on my face before going out when Im in the sun for maybe half an hour.
>xanthelasma appeared out of nowhere one morning>treatments are surgery, laser, or chemical>all leave a mark and it still can come back>apparently I am prone to it genetically as many relatives of mine have itIt's so fucking over boys. Pic is not me, mine is flatter and slightly larger.
they cancelled their sunscreen line for so long and now they brought it back but even the reviews on their own website are dragging this thing lmaoanyone here used it?
every noncomedogenic sunblock i try seems to make me break out. any suggestions?

So how exactly are you supposed to shave without clogging the pipes? I use cartridges and shaving foam and rinse it under the tap. I shave frequently too so it's not like there's a bunch of thick hair that can form big hairballs, and I tried running hot water for a couple minutes after having to help clear up grease or whatever at the advice of some internet searches but that doesn't change anything. Do I really have to rinse it in a bowl or something? I admittedly haven't tried to before, but it feels like it won't rinse the blades as well as the tapI'm at a loss but it's become a pretty big problem and using those chemical solutions to clear the pipes can't be good for long-term health

>>18525341Common denominators across all three1. Heavy use of silicones (Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, etc.)These create an occlusive layer. Not inherently comedogenic, but on acne-prone or clog-prone skin they can trap sebum, bacteria, and sweat, worsening breakouts.Especially relevant if you use other occlusive products underneath or don’t double-cleanse.2. Film formers / polymers (Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer)These give the “smooth, blurring, gel-primer” feel. They can increase occlusion and contribute to clogged pores in some people.3. Chemical UV filters (Octocrylene, Homosalate, Avobenzone, Octinoxate)These are in all three except that EltaMD uses zinc as well. Some people find Octocrylene and Homosalate irritating irritation can trigger acne-like breakouts.Avobenzone is unstable unless well-stabilized; breakdown products may irritate sensitive skin.4. Hydration + occlusion mix (hyaluronic acid + silicone)Hyaluronic acid draws water in, but if combined with heavy occlusion and not balanced with exfoliation, it can make skin feel congested. Likely culprits for your breakoutsSilicone-heavy bases + film formers trapping sweat/sebum.Octocrylene/Homosalate/Avobenzone combo potential irritant breakouts.Layering with other products (esp. rich moisturizers) may worsen pore clogging. If you’re acne-prone, it’s often not one single “comedogenic” ingredient but the overall occlusive, film-forming nature of these modern, invisible sunscreens.
What is a good routine to get onto tret? I tried using it once every 3 days for one week, then every two days the next week, then every day the next week and ended up with my skin red. I think I broke my skin barrier.

>>18522290Say I'm at the beach and use like a 60+spf. I mainly sunbath instead of swim, but given that its summer it makes me sweat a whole lot. Does this make me need to reapply the sunscreen more often due to the sweat and such coming off on the towel?
>>18525451>why not gelidk>which product?night moisturizer>which brand? cosrx?yes>no experience with natural remedies like this desuI grew to dislike petroleum products on my face so I switched to tallow, there are a million vendors on etsy and it doesn't taste like death like aquaphor does. works the same as aquaphor too, makes my lips feel soft and moisturized.tallow is easy to make and I get some as a by-product of making gelatin in a slow cooker from bones. but the refining process takes a lot of work so I'd rather just buy it.
