I actually cracked up when she tried to justify the price tags, consider that I know for a fact that niche houses only spend 10-15% more on ingredients at most (!) compared to designer houses. The price difference is primarily due to economics of scale. Meh, I've seen worse. Some wasted their working hours (and by extention life) on NFTs.

Fragrance influencers I know and what I think of them:

Jeremy - good but fell off lately
CalCologne - I have slightly same likes as him, unbiased, great recommendations
perfumerism - my go to fragrance nerd/autism content, I love her deep dive into notes and stuff
Fbfragrances- too zoomer taste for me, but a good reviewer, slightly shill
Oliviaolfactory- Gourmand shill, but I sometimes watch her for her reactions
JimmySniffs- nice collection but meme creator, funny guy
Fragranceflan- Solid reviewer, but I'm a bit too broke for his stuff
CurlyFragrance- Arabslop shill, good reco for clones, nice butt

Guys, I want some genuine advice here. I want to build a fragrance collection of a total 4 fragrances. What would you guys recommend me? I already have Abercombie & Fitch Fierce and it gives me far more compliments than friends wearing Parfum De Marly Layton and Green Irish Tweed by Creed. It's almost empty though. Also, I happen to care about compliments, so keep that in mind. If you've ever had a woman giving you that "ahh omg you smell so good" while hugging you, you understand.

Testing Toy Boy for the first time, still in the first 10 minutes, it’s really weird. There’s something in here that I associate with some kind of herbal aromatic spice topping that would go on a pizza. No fucking clue.

Not a typical Pizza Hut or Domino’s pizza though, like, your old nonna’s homemade pie type pizza topping. Still, it’s weird.

Oregano was the first thing that came to my mind, no idea if it shares some chemical element present due to one of the other notes, but it’s not a listed note, not that you can really trust note lists anyway.
Maybe an herbal aspect of the rose, but I’ve never heard of that before. I’m also just not very experienced with rose notes, it was part of the reason I decided to sample the frag.

A lot of “niche” houses only get traction because they send free testers to famous fragrance “influencers”. That’s their marketing, giving people free slop so they’ll talk good about it, and it only costs them 3 bucks or so because that’s what nicheslop costs, even the pidgeon does it and he larps as ultra niche, something perfumeranon would surely tell you if his NDA didn’t have a clause stating that (((they))) are going to ruin his life if he talks about it. Wake up man it’s all slop, the only fragrance you need is Drakkar noir or bdc

Niche price is one thing, but I don't think they smell more pleasant on average. They're overdoing it, trying to reinvent the wheel and be "different". Designer houses and their parent companies have way more $$$ to spend on R&D to get it right in the first place.
>>

The reason why they smell the same or predominantly smell like abroxane is because you've gone nose blind. You predominantly smell abroxane because it's a synthetic. What you all have in common is that you're too low IQ to realise something so basic and obvious.

I got a bottle of Dior Fahrenheit. I'm pretty sure many are familiar with it. It starts deceptively with quiet watery green notes before slowly growing more masculine, spicier, and leathery. I even get some gentle sweetness from the florals almost vanillic. Surprisingly it smells quite modern and not outdated even when I vividly remember adults wearing it when I was younger. It's never harsh, and the scent is quite unique. Projection is okish, the longevity is respectable. I tried it the first time in the heat and it became quite aggressive and intense, trying it now in cooler weather it's quite muted. I don't know if this is a universal experience and the source of the name or just because it was the first time. I plead ignorance.

You're probably an American mutt who boasts about having 17% dutch ancestry or something like that. You your face is likely so foul looking by now that women would rather commit suicide than be seen with you.

And his chin is dogshit awful.
