It does look very wide, but that's the look they were going for, similar to the 33mm Calatrava with 18mm lug width.

It's honestly impressive what kind of build quality Chink watches offer now.
I just wish they'd leave their retarded company name off the dial and go for an understated logo instead. Or hire someone competent to come up with a name.
Just saw an interview with the founder of Vario who explained the name is a combination of "vary" and "Oreo". I mean come on.

Watchdives seems to be the only one with a not-retarded name and a cool looking logo without a bunch of writing all over them. although looking at them now it seems to depend on the model. some have writing, and there's a different logo with the whole name in it. but that logo isn't ugly or anything.

It's alright zoomfriend. It just takes some practice. You are probably 15 years old and have only ever looked at the time on your phone, so you have always been used to saying something like "it's 7:18" because that's the exact time you are seeing on the screen. With an analogue you wouldn't worry about pinpoint accuracy and instead you just say "it's 7 past 15" or "past 7 and a quarter"
The more you look at your watch, the easier it gets to read it. Some watches like the timex weekender are really easy to read because every hour indice is labeled with numbers that are big and thick, like my cock. Just keep in mind that if you need accurate and exact timekeeping for work or what have you, you are better off with a digital watch.
>>
>>18571964
Great alignment.
>>
>>18571553
just takes a fraction of a second longer. you'll need to get used to it though, i hear lots of kids can't read analog anymore.

it is true, the catch is that you need to spend billions of dollars to produce one gram of gold in a particle collider
>>
>>18573131
True.
All the world's gold was formed in supernovas. Most of the gold the planet has is centered on the core as it's very heavy compared to most naturally occurring elements.
I just don't understand why they don't mine the core directly. They could easily extract cubic kilometers of high purity gold that way along with other rare earth metals.
>oh no, it would crash the market price
So what? It's better for everyone
>mining the core would destroy the environment
Again bullshit, the mined metals would just be replaced by others by gravity and humanity's needs would never deplete it.
They just don't want to do that, to keep up the status quo.

They're the cheapest decent-looking and good quality analog watches available IMO.
They do nothing for me, the design is just too bland. But now that Seiko 5's cost $400 this is the entry level for a daily all-purpose watch.

It’s funny, I actually really like the loud ticking on the timex movements.
I think I have that thing where subtle repetitive noise helps me relax and focus, like a rain sounds generator or something
Now that I think about it, I should check the timex lineup again, I was going to go with a Chinese automatic because I just think autos are cool and I’d like a vague retro GMT “homage”, but I do miss my loud ass weekender
Extra funny because all my friends found the noise significantly more noticeable than I did, so I’d always have people asking why my watch was so loud

I need advice.
I was gonna buy this Casio (I already have a luxury watch, this would be just something I wear for the gym or concerts). GW-5000U. I like the stealthy look but also higher quality build. It can't be metal because I'm gonna wear it during activities where I could hurt somebody.

Then recently, people started shilling the upcoming MIP variant. I looked it up and it seems it won't have Tough Solar, so basically you'll have to "charge it" every week. Which sounds SUPER gay to me. Like the whole point of G-Shock is that it just exists and functions, on its own.
Also, the design seems kinda soulless, although you can switch the font.

And then I also noticed they recently released a negative display variant (GW-5000HS). Which I'm skeptical of, but it does look cool, kinda ninja, all black. But then, visibility might be an issue.
Thoughts?
>>
It's a swiss made Casio
