It's more of a salty, coconuty, semi leather-ish floral frag and hardly has any of that 1M DNA. Bogart One Man Show still has like 7 hours of decent performance. Drakkar Noir was the same until a few years back when they released the 2020 formulation. It usually takes a few reformulations to kill something and that's why I think all the '80s and '90s stuff is getting ruined.This is one of the biggest reasons I get clones. I'm not gonna be pissed if I have to reapply an $8 bottle of Cuba, but I'd be pissed if a $200 designer fragrance lasted 4 hours.

You can't compare a random vintage with something new when you don't know how it was stored or used. Heck, two vintages months apart can smell completely different because of the same reason. Even comparing modern vs modern can be useless because of maceration. "They ruined Dickus Avonti with the 2025 reformulation, it smells completely different to my 2024 bottle that I have been using for a year." It could literally be the same and has just changed as all fragrances do. I have some amazing smelling fragrances that are over 30 years old but you can't pretend that's how they smelled when they were new, especially the top notes. I still rather pay the boomer tax because I like them better than the new stuff.TL:DR Reformulations happen but a comparison that doesn't involve at least 30 bottles is guaranteed to be inaccurate.
