How long did recovery take? I also hear it generally restores vision a lot but not necessarily 100%, more like enough to not really need glasses. I would ask "so what do you tell the DMV now that you no longer need them, you just take the little letters eye test right there and they strike it from your license?" but if you just got it you wouldn't know

That being said I'm still wearing sunglasses indoors to make sure it heals fully the first week. Just take your prescription meds they give you and you're good.About the DMV question, I never had glasses, but I got multiple eye exams to make sure they can get my prescription prior to the surgery. The eye doctors questioned how the hell I was able to drive and why my state didn't require a renewal yet. I said my license expires every 8 years rather than 4.
I just want to know if you looked into PRK first. I’m torn between the two.
