>Sugar Cane 1947 editionGeneral discussion about all things denim, workwear and americana.Previous thread: >>18687155
There is literally nothing wrong with the Sugarcane 1947. These will fit 90% of guys, and there is not a single pair of jeans that can be considered “perfect” or “one size fits all”
>>18699371You're talking about the diapers in the OP?
>>18699366>>18699371>he’s still mad
>>18699377>>18699379Mentally ill, body dysmorphia, and likely skinnyfat
>>18699366He doesn't fill the seat in the slightest. Is this supposed to be a good fit?
>>18699377>>18699379>>18699385Pathetic attempt at samefagging
>>18699386k bro
>>18699371Honestly, sugarcane’s 2025 wide cut is leagues ahead of the 1947. Got a pair last month and it’s great, and the top block is superior. Waistband is tapered inward, yoke has a nice angle, and the backpockets are not dropped. Really complements the ass. Love the 1947, but it’s not amazing or anything
Tried the 1947. It was shit. Went back to store the day after. Not much to add.
>>18699381Lmao you said that skinnyfat last thread too. I can post body if you do, I guarantee I'm more fit than you are and my cheap jeans fit.
>>18699381So you think that the fit is good and that the guy has an ass too?
which brand makes a jeans with all these>relaxed>high waist>flatters the ass>enough length to stack
>>18699408Omoto 0815 or Jelado 301
How much weight do you need to drop to be able to fit a size down in a pair of jeans in your experience?I don't mean barely fit in but having a good fit.
>>18699395The SC 2025 looks cool but I could not rock a pair with a copper crotch nipple
>>18699420Depends on your body proportions, how you store fat, etc. But for me it was about 10kg per size.
>>18699427I thought so too, but if you just lean into it it’s kind of cool. The cut is too good to give a shit about that
>>18699428Oh wow that's crazy. AI told me it's 4-5kg
>>18699435I feel like that would be a reliable estimate actually. I was size 33 when I was 180 lb and then went up to size 34 when I was 190-195 lb
>le ebin repro cutterino bro! :O>3 hundred dollar is a steal bro! :O
>>18699471Is someone saying that $300 is a steal?
>>18699477>le repro
>>18699492what the fuck are you even talking about?
Total newbie here. Never owned anything more than levi premium. Is there a good mid to upper tier brand you would recomend for a light wash jeans? Preferably higher rise straight cut.Im not sure I wanna go all in on raw denim yet.
>>18699542If you want light wash, just buy 90s Levi’s
Jelado is an underrated brand. I just got this shirt for like $180 brand new and it’s fucking nice. Super clean triple row chain stitching along all the shoulders and arms, and the blue check pattern is all indigo rope dyed. Pretty much on par with any Toyo industries stuff but it looks like it’s just a tiny bit less expensive than anything from sugarcane, buzz rickson, etc
>got a size large Iron Heart IHJ-123-OD>the p2p chest measurement is around 21 inches even though everywhere lists it at around 22.5 inchesNot that I'm complaining since the fit is good but holy shit I was actually considering a medium
>>18699645This is exactly why I ALWAYS check the size charts from multiple different retailers when buying a particular piece. Each retailer has their own methods for measuring certain parts of a garment. Its particularly bad when you want to get an accurate thigh width for a pair of jeans. One retailer will measure across the thigh a tiny distance down from the crotch seam, another will measure right at the crotch seam.
>>18699646Yeah, though this time it seems literally everyone pulled an extra 1-1.5 inches out of their asses somehow for this jacket's measurements. Iron Heart themselves, Rivet and Hide, Self Edge, etc etc.I think I'll need to message and double check when ordering a horsehide jacket I have my eye on.
please recommend a pair of slim-straight dark black denim jeans <=$400 that would look good with pic rel

>>18699704TCB 50s blackThey occasionally have a slim version if that isn't slim enough for you.
Can I get a moleskin chore coat without breaking the bank? Less than 100 dollars would be ideal.
Left or right? I'm leaning toward right but left measures exactly like my current jeans. Right is same cut but is 0.25" smaller; don't know if that's enough to make a big difference. I have big quads.
Am I allowed to wear CPs (Common Projects Achilles Low) with heritage workwear?
>>18699752I kind of like the denim on the right more. Has a tiny bit more character without being over the top. Also seems like it will get a little bit more of that yellowy, natural weft color popping through when it fades. I'm just guessing though
>>18699757They are the same denim.
I am considering a pair of Boncouras, but the inseam is like 31". I am 6'1". Do you think these will be too short?
>>18699758definitely go for the larger one if you have big quads
>>18699755You can do whatever the fuck you want.>>18699760Most probably yeah. Unless you have a ridiculously long torso with relatively short legs. For the record I'm 5'10 and usually get a 32 inseam. In most jeans this results in a break with some stacking. A 31 on you will fit at best with no break or slightly high waters.
>>18699366Any recs for a second pair of high[er] quality jeans?Bought a pair of Naked&Famous in midnight/extremely dark indigo. Tempted to just go with another N&F this time in natural indigo30” waist, 24” thighs, 6’ tall
>>18699838Don’t get another N&F, go with some variety instead. My all time favorite pairs:>Sugarcane 2025 wide>Freewheelers 1947>Warehouse 1001xx deadstock blue>Flat Head 3004>Fullcount 0105
