Yes i got 2ml sample when i bought frag. Its very strong lasts whole day. My co workers told me they could smell where i have been walking simply by scent and it still was strong 10 hours later. Much less citric or floral compared to the original EdT. The opening of the Intense is a bit rough, pithy, peppery and smoky. But the overall effect of wearing it is like Japanese incense with a subtle 'watery' lotus that I really like. I wore it a bit this summer, but I think it works best in spring/fall.

Percival is definitely a fresh scent that many like for spring and summer. I personally like to use it for the more moderate temperature range because I think it's spicy and full-bodied enough to wear well on colder days as well, but exactly those aspects make it a not so ideal hot summer frag for me. Sure, regular warm days are fine, in fact that's where it truly shines I would say. But on really hot days I wouldn't wear Percival. They have a few other fresh ones but those I have tried weren't really for me.

That aside, I think they’re harder to find because most people prefer smaller bottles, but G&B makes both 30 ml bottles and 10 or 15 ml travel sprays. Pick up one of those and give it a thorough test.

What do you guys think of Ralph Lauren Blue? I have been using Chanel Bleu for years and want a little change.

All the discourse around this fragrance is overblown IMO. The tar/weed resin note isn't super offensive and wears down pretty quickly. If you like smokey, woody scents it's pretty nice, just very seasonal. I can't imagine wearing this outside of late fall or early winter.

Don't fall for Bohemian Lime, it's ridiculously overpriced and bordering on a scam. You can get Mugler Cologne for half the price and spray all you want. If you want the best bang for your buck see if you like Bois Imperial, it's a bit synthetic smelling but it's cheap and with two sprays they will smell you before you enter the room. Be weary of shills, they're everywhere. There are millions of fragrances, there is no rush or urgency to stick with one. The ones I mentioned are just off the top of my head. There might be others that suit you better. If you have infinite money buy what you want but if you want the best value see what's out there. Check out Terre d'Hermes, it smells great, it's cheap, and isn't a scam like Goldfield and Banks.

No, I am an American. Some total rando suggested a giant list of discovery kits last month when I asked and had them in his section of hearing good things but hadn't been able to try. So, I decided to try. I wrote up a review on their frags (was fairly short since they only have five). I can see why they got flowers at their debut. It also is a one man show, and I have a love for brands that are 1-5 guys just whipping smelly water into containers for the love of the game.

Be aware, tariffs are going to murder your ass. I have no idea why the fuck the tariffs from Romania are so high but I paid nearly $90 in tariffs on two bottles. I avoided tariffs on the disco kit because another site was selling it (I think ZGO).

If this guy can get a stockist in America it'll do a lot of good for him until this tariff shit is resolved. Not sure why he isn't on Luckyscent (or at least I don't think he is).

Ritual Code and Dear Future were my favorites. Silent Rain is the frag that people made a big hullabaloo over but it wasn't for me. It's very well made, probably the closest frag I've ever smelled that emulates what it smells like outside after it rains. Very authentic compared to other frags that do this where the rain is "clean" if that makes sense. I decided against it because I couldn't imagine a scenario where I'd want to smell like that. It's cool, but what's the utility? The other two were decently made but nothing interesting.

Ritual Code smells like a special edition Series 3 frag to me where they wanted to copy the experience of an African shamanic ritual, or an Aboriginal one. It's also strong as a mother fucker. One of the samples of Ritual Code I suggested broke in transit somehow, and despite being extremely well packaged (better packaged than any other company I bought from), I could still broken smell the sample through the cardboard and bubble wrap when I got near the package. Crazy projection.

YSL Y Ice compared to regular YSL Y. It's just Y, but it has that ice gimmick going for it. It doesn't last at all, but it's fun. If the two were the exact same price, and you told me to buy one, I'd pick Ice every time.

Looking for advice. We have an annual conference coming up in November. It is in Florida, so it is still warm outside but usually cold in the conference rooms. Entirely different. Dear Future smells like the body odor of a person whose own body itself is a bespoke work of art. That is to say, that some autistic Japanese man would have spent countless hours coming up with what Motoko actually smells like. ELDO's GITS is much more comparable (if we continue with this analogy) to a toy someone just unboxed. The first time someone pointed out the pink hand soap smell to me, I couldn't shake it. This would be an earnest attempt to make Motoko's body odor into a real thing by a real guy.

When I first tested the sample from the kit that I couldn't figure out what the hell I was smelling other than it smelled like the most desirable person I could possibly imagine. I mentioned in my review that I wasn't certain whether I wanted to wear this or have my gf wear it more.

Then, because the sample doesn't come with any ingredients, just notes, which are super vague, I started looking for reviews to see if anyone could give me a list of what the fuck was in this stuff. At that point I started to see people say that it smells like an android from the future and that's when I realized that this is what I'd imagine Motoko smells like.

Be aware, it can (but not always, weirdly) have an unpleasant burnt plastic smell on the initial spray. Give it a few minutes and it goes away, but the opening isn't consistent. Most of the time it instantly opens into sex, and then every now and then you get unlucky and it hits the bullet in the chamber you just spun.

The list of ingredients came with the bottle I ordered. It's rather short and unimpressive, so I can't figure out how he's made this smell out of those components.

After looking through people dumping bottles from their collections to declutter over the last few months, I have learned a few things.

I have seen one person selling a single Zoologist bottle, one guy selling a few PdE bottles, a few Serge bottles, and some others. Very occasionally I'll find someone selling "niche" brands which I've never heard of in my life and can find very few reviews on, which typically tells me that they sucked dick and may as well be dupes, and this person is just trying to dump them for cash. Actual niche stuff, when it does pop up, goes almost instantly thoughbeit just no one wants to sell it for obvious reasons.

I am not certain how most of these guys exist because I don't know who their clientele are. Their oud extraits I don't like as much, but those aren't in that set.

Yes, they are like 80% the same. EDT is more metallic and airy, EDP is thicker, a bit sweeter and has way more oakmoss

I prefer the EDT by a bit as it's fresher and seems easier to wear, but if you like one you should like the other

You're allergic to one of the chemicals in it. You are likely going to give yourself dermatitis if you keep using it. I doubt you bought anything expensive. My suggestion would be to look around for info on reviews from people who have this same issue with other frags to know what to avoid and what will probably be fine. Samples in the long run will be your friend.

And generally, no, it means you're likely allergic to it. If you bought it in a shop, that's a legitimate reason to return it and get your money back or exchange for a perfume that doesn't make you itchy.

Also could be dry skin though, before anything else, try moisturising your skin before you spray.

The vintage Kouros I have is full and 4 sprays is enough for a full wear. It smells amazing and it will last generations but I still want to buy another vintage as backup. Sanofi, paid about $150 for 50ml. It's funny that you mention $200 when that is the base price for so many modern fragrances. I've paid that much and I can't say they are worth more than vintage. It boils down to if you like it, I would pay $300 for vintage Kouros because I like it that much. It's one of the best performing fragrances in my collection so 4 sprays is enough to get nice projection all day. You can buy a partial or a mini and it will last you a long time.
