Is there any difference in terms of cardio in incline walking vs traditional running? I fucked up my ankle and can’t really run without pain but incline walking doesn’t seem to bother it too much. During my runs, I’m between 160-170bpm and do about the same on the treadmill so it’s all the same right?

>>74606656Cardio is just maintaining a high rate of gas exchange. Heart rate is a decent proxy for that. It's different in the sense that you can't train running by incline walking.
