any anons used a personal trainer? I've been considering it lately so wanted to look into it, it's winter so I imagine having someone push myself during these next few months could pay off in gains.

i see personal trainers at my gym and they always take their clients through the same fuckass stupid workouts it pisses me off.
unless these people know that theyre paying for suffering with minimal results they should dump the pt garbage.
e.g. i saw a pt at my gym making this girl do sets of 100 body weight squats, her form was awful and he didnt even correct it, she wasnt even going to parallel at the end of the set(s)
maybe hire an actual coach if you really need motivating, and ACTUAL good advice.
