How do I cut without losing muscle?
>>

Don't forget about the micros

Slowly. Calculate a deficit of like 100 cals per day.
With enough protein. 1.6/kg should be enough.
While lifting. Never diet without lifting, you should still see minimal progress, not as fast as during a bulk but maybe a rep or a pound here and there, and no strength loss.

Try to train everything around every 3 or 4 days. Prioritize middle set ranges like 6-8 because they're good at maintaining strength and don't require more sets. Maintaining strength is key to regaining whatever comes off.
Don't be afraid if you look smaller than normal. It'll come back when you're storing glycogen normally and can actually get a pump again from working in higher rep ranges that demand more glycogen.
That's about it. People sweat all this math about sets per week and what not but if you're doing fullbodies it's just bumping frequency up or down.

Stick to no more than a 500 calories deficit. 1gram per lbs of protein, cutting is the only time this is actually necessary and will help spare muscle. Light cardio and don’t go heavy on the weights

Do .72-1g/lb of protein and only do that. Say I want to lose 20 pounds then I would eat 32 oz of chicken breast or thigh. That would be approximately 800-1000 kcals and 160-200g of protein. You would easily be in a deficit but you would get tired so I would add a protein shake to get rid of sweet cravings

I have a theory that you can delete fat without impacting muscle by walking at an easy pace. Below zone 2 cardio.

This.
>>
>>74611642
Only be hungryish the day after heavy lifting, for other maintenance high frequency shit just eat enough carbs before and stay full enough on protein and fat as long as carbs are up enough for muscles to not go catabolic.
>>
>>74613172
Glycogen isn't even the start of the carb pill. Without them your muscles don't really synthesize protein correctly or something unless it's above a certain point of satiating your muscles.
