Planning on doing two sprint workouts per week from now on, but I have no clue how such a workout should look. Today I just did 8 30m sprints with 3 minutes rest in-between. No clue if that was effective or not, if I should have done more sprints, or rested less/more, ...
I also timed myself on one sprint today and I did 4.5 seconds on tall grass with a standing start (SLOW AS FUCK). It feels like I don't even get close to utilising all of the power I have in my legs. Technique isn't perfect, I just analysed the videos, but it isn't bad either. Knees could go higher, arms could go straighter, but other than that it's not bad, so it shouldn't be the reason why I can't use 100% of my power

you didn't even ask a question
but please, do go on

Thought I had put it into the subject...
The question is how does a proper sprint workout look in terms of volume, distance, and rest
>>
>>74616974
lots of youtube videos on the subject, I don't know why people come here to get info when there are pros breaking it down
one vid i watched the guy recommended 8 second sprints all out, uphill, 5 minutes rest in between starting with 3 reps and working your way up to 5 reps
Surprisingly effective workout, I did my 3 reps yesterday and I'm sore all over
that is if you can go balls out
I like to take a deep inhale and explode and then sharp exhale and sharp inhales as I go, also pay attention to how fast your arms move, they can get your legs moving faster, and pull your knees up
learn how to "A-Skip" as welll

Thanks
The reason why I come here is because I like to get a real discussion going, and because there is lots of conflicting advice out there

>>74617054
Lol. Is this your first day on the board? Just Google it. We come here to laugh, not to hold your hand.
>>
>>74617054
also if you are slow and feel like you can't generate power then learn how to do power cleans and do some box jumps or something
broad leaps are good too
plyometrics in general
>>
>>74617072
It works for both purposes

I bet that you trust the Manlet of nick

Yeah I'm planning to do one leg day in the gym too, doing explosive lifts and plyos

>I don't know why people come here
lots of censorship/ignorance in the mainstream. There are still some esoteric secrets that people don't know about that would improve people's lives. Hence the appeal of going here, in the case some schizo or autistic 160IQ person will dump some life-changing info. Even though most of the posts here are nonsense, porn, demoralization, etc.
>>
>>74617105
idk what that is
>>74617244
true, maybe one of the reasons I come here
