You have Celtic blood. Could span from basically anywhere in Europe that's not in the Mediterranean or the borderlands into the Middle East. More than likely Irish or Scottish though because they have the highest predisposition towards red hair

are you still young? it could darken over time. at 25, my beard was dark brown but moustache pure blonde. by 30, it had turned almost the same dark brown as the rest with a few barely noticeable highlights remaining.
