is it better to do both arms at the same time or alternate for curls?

Try both and report back.

Technocally it is good to do one arm in one workout.
It will force ALL energy and nutrients into one arm.
Then rest day. Then do other arm.

You can laugh but think about it. Body has limited energy to work out and also to regenerate. Limiter available hgh and nutrients.
Armwrestlers often work out only one arm and have HUGE arms. Abnormal.

both seemed faster, but one at a time felt like it was a bigger stretch and that I was going down all the way

Do you also break lats and abs into left and right? Do you have a left leg day and a right leg day?

I don't do legs at all because I'm not gay

It’s easier to maintain proper posture by doing both arms at the same time
