you could probably just tape it up while you go to the gym and avoid lifts that put a lot of strain on your grip.. unless it's really that painful to even hold a weight. but i mean come on you could probably at least do leg day. just tape that shit up and go do some squats

You can use wraps to do a lot of the grips and work around that. You can do more than enough to at least prevent any muscle loss.
