How should I lift if I don't necessarily want to get as jacked stacked succulent and dense as humanly possible but just have a balanced, athletic physique?

Do calesthenics. Getting really good at pushups, dips, handstands, squats, back bridges, and pullups and all their variations will give you a nice physique. Big time bonus points if you use rings and paralletes to expand your options and make your lifts even more effective. Be sure to do them like a bro though. Go for reps and basics instead of skills. Learn the cool moves too if you'd like but the results in how you look lie with the basics done for high volume

Take test, eat ihop ultimate breakfast platter 3 times a day or even 4 times a day or 5 times a day, lift compunds 3 to 4 times a week

Its the same as if you want to be a complete freak. Get storng as fuck in all the barbell lifts (squat, bench, deadlift, row, overhead press, chinups, curls) and eat too much protein in a slight caloric surplus. When you are "athletic" (LOL) you dial back the frequency and itnensty and food and just maintain.

By the way, you sound like a woman. Also, you are ignorant as fuck. Educate yourself on hopw muscle is built, basic nutrition, dieting and exercise geenrally. Only a hithead thinks there are exercises to look athletic and exercises not to. Also, if you think you can half ass the workoutsa and get the half ass ed(aka "atheltic") results that you, want,. tnats not how iot works. You get NO results with half assed efforts.

You seem to be kind of harsh, maybe not different exercises but the workout is different, the intention is different.

I would advise fast, explosive, heavy reps sprinting and plyometrics, and you should play a sport

Don't do calisthenics, they are okay for overall fitness but you won't really get gains, no one will notice. Do compound lifts (start with stronglifts 5x5 if you're a total noob, add in pull ups and an arm accessory lift). Sleep a bunch, eat a bunch of protein.

Surefire way to have a big ass and no arms. Completely unbalanced physique. Calesthenics will get you way better gains

Sure, but bodybuilders, powerlifters, and football players train differently

Furst things first - do you want to look atheltic or be athletic? A will assume its just look athletic based on how your questions is worded.

Second question is to define athletic: I am assuming you mean two things: 1) lean 2) reasoanbly musclur

So - assuming you want to be lean and look muscular, you need to be a bodybuilder. Get storng an build msicle like the one anon said. Basic lift are your frioend here. Yes, throw in some direct arm work. Thats okay. But the basics work. Eat like a bodybuilder. Lots of Leaner meats and eggs and modest amounts of non-sugary carbs like rice and potatoes, maybe oatleal (wheat is its own bunch pf problems.).

Basic bodybuilding exercises means barbell work. Strong means 1,2,3,4.

you're not gonna accidentally get too big, just lift
