Lefties want there to be less factory farming, so they pressure Dems to pass a bill or two banning certain slaughterhouse practices and resolve to eat farm to table or vegan in their own lives. But, only the wealthy really have the resources to eat like that regularly. And the bill banning certain unethical animal slaughter practices ends up getting totally neutered and companies just find a way around it.Four years is an awfully short amount of time.
