Fatty foods tend to be pretty dense in calories, so you don't have to eat so much, which can be annoying. Assuming you're eating at a moderate caloric surplus and consuming between 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of lean mass, would it be very suboptimal to replace a lot of those grams of carbohydrates with grams of fat? Carbs are important for glycogen in muscles, but wouldn't your body be converting a lot of the fat you eat into carbohydrates? I've heard that high fat diets are bad due to your body not needing to convert them in order to simply store them as fat in your body, whereas your body needs to expend energy to convert carbohydrates to fat to store them as fat in your body. The reason I'm asking is because I've found it easier to eat fattier foods (that are mostly clean) than to try and eat a shitload of carbohydrates. I should mention that I'm an enhanced lifter, so I don't need to worry about eating so much fat and cholesterol to produce testosterone.

The body doesn't turn fat into glucose to any significant degree. It uses fat as energy directly. Dietary fat is like a slow burning carb, slower burning than any complex carb. Basically your body will burn sugars first (simple carb), then complex carbs, then fats. Fats can so readily be used as energy that it keeps them stored in your digestive tract then uses them right from there. That's why when you eat a lot of fats or oils you have greasy shits, you're shitting the fat out because your body didn't need it. That being said yes you can store fat as fat but I don't believe it happens at a high degree to healthy people. Something is seriously wrong with fatties that causes them to store everything they eat. Normal people shit out food if they eat too much, I definitely do.

The best diet is a balanced one. You'll stil need carbs to replenish glycogen stores. You don't want protein converting to carbs because that puts you in ketosis which fucks your body up big time in the long term. Protein doesn't have calories when not in ketosis. It doesn't get burned as energy and cannot be stored, it breaks down into amino acids to build things.

The best diet we know of is a high fat diet but carbs aren't the enemy
You should aim for about 30-35% of your daily calories coming from fat and try to keep saturated fats as low as possible

Wouldn't greasy shit be a sign of an issue in your digestive tract? Your shit is mostly composed of dead bacteria and fiber. I imagine anything oily in your shit would result in you getting diarrhea. I once tried BDO for insomnia, and all I got was an insane laxative effect. I only took 1 cc, and I could feel the oil around my asshole.

fat induces insulin resistance starvation. adipose fat reflects well composition of dietary fat. sorry but fat you eat is fat you wear exercise and moderate starvation can keep one lean despite eating higher fat diet but its suboptimal and injurous to health long term.

>fat induces insulin resistance starvation.
What does this mean? Does eating more fat and less carbs lower insulin resistance?

Probably more indicative of a lack of fiber or you just ate too much fat. Not really great for you.

This is nonsense. Fat doesn't magically get stored if you're in a deficit. Same with carbs, but excess Fructose will get stored around the liver and give you NAFLD.

I never had an experience like that again. I'm almost certain that diarrhea was caused by the oily BDO.

>high fat diet
That's contradictory

A slice of pizza is like 500 calories. A diet would then mean that you're eating less calories. Assuming you're eating a regular 1800 calorie diet, you're looking at maybe 3 slices of pizza and that's most of your days worth of calories

Its not enough volume. You'll feel like shit after a week and will probably have health issues within a month if you ate so little
