I have short upper arms, long forearms, big shoulders and a long torso so in the neck crease feels perfect for me

I realized I forgot to log my last two arm days because they ran so late, but I crushed them. Saturday felt amazing, like I was unstoppable, but by Sunday, it was like a bus hit me. My plan is to push this last week before deload back by a day, so hopefully tomorrow I can come in strong and finish it off right.

I asked the autistic question about needing more plates since my deadlift is getting up there now and I made the mistake of only having 150kg of bumpers. I guess it makes sense to just buy a couple of 25kg iron plates since I'm running out of space on the bar for more bumpers.

York plates seem to be the cheapest here by far. I've heard things about weight tolerance and clearance in the holes being an issue, but is it really an issue any of you have had? I don't really like the idea of paying out of the ass for rogue Europe or whatever when they will all rust and go to shit anyway. I already did that for bumpers.

Also not sure if I'll end up fucking the bumpers up if these iron plates turn out to be slightly bigger in diameter than all of the weights I have, meaning that the iron plates are taking all of the drop during my pulls. I have a platform so it should be fine right?

I pull with my shins often not touching at the bottom, but touching a few inches off the floor and all the way to lookout. It's a useful concept, everyone has an idea of if something was too easy / moderate / very hard and used that as a gauge before they even knew what RPE was.
