/fit/wise, would a man be able to take down a healthy lion if you were given a shield and a sword?Dosent make sense to me unless the lion was drugged.

You have more surface area to side step their advances I'm thinking of it kind of like bullfighting here though, except you have the ability to strike a blow as he passes by, possibly dazing him a little bit and giving you an opportunity to attack with a sword.I don't think lion fights necessarily needed you to be hulking strong, but rather quick on your feet with good anticipation ability / reflexes.
