>Yeah I do deadlifts, how could you tell

When i first started deadlifting and squatting I didn't know how to engage my core and thought the spine pain was just my muscles and I could barely walk afterwards and thought it was completely normal. I would walk with a hunch and people would ask me if I was OK and I'd say "yep I feel great just deadlifts" and they probably thought I was really dumb

>be me
>squat and diddy regularly
>never any back pain
>few weeks of manual labor (chopping and stacking firewood)
>lower back still hurts three months later

That's because gym muscles aren't hard labor muscles

Squats are based but I can’t figure out conventional deads. Too much quads and low back. RDLs feel great on the hammies/glutes tho. Figure if I can get to 405x5 rdl my posterior chain will be adequate.

stretch hamstrings daily and keep toes/knees forward, solved all my problems so far. it's all about the pelvis getting pulled.
